STUDY DESCRIPTION • PPST 250 plus Lumivia insecticide seed treatment is a combination of the standard PPST 250 corn seed treatment (4 fungicides & Cruiser ® 250 insecticide) with the addition of the new insecticide seed treatment DuPont Lumivia (0.25 mg ai per seed), which contains the active ingredient chloranthraniliprole. • PPST 250 plus Lumivia insecticide seed treatment provides enhanced activity against a broad spectrum of early-season insect pests in corn including wireworm, black cutworm, fall armyworm, white grub, and seedcorn maggot. The active ingredient, ethaboxam, is active against several Pythium spp. that are damaging to corn seed and seedlings. • The objective of this research was to evaluate performance of the current standard PPST compared to PPST with the addition of ethaboxam FST. • The FST components of PPST + ethaboxam include: mefenoxam, fludioxonil, azoxystrobin, thiabendazole plus the new addition of ethaboxam.
