This shows that the index for detached, semi-detached and apartments increased in Q4 2016 while all property types showed an increase over the year. The remainder of this section shows the trend since 2007 across the four property types (detached, semi-detached, terrace, apartment). 8

The index for detached properties increased by 0.3% between Q3 2016 and Q4 2016 and is 4.8% higher than Q4 2015, with the index now standing at 112.3 (ie prices today are typically 12.3% higher than the first quarter of 2015).
