When did you start playing hockey? My family has always been a big sports family. My dad played hockey, all my cousins played hockey and growing up that’s basically all we did. How did you get started playing goalie? One year my team didn’t have a goalie, so I decided I fit the role. What’s the most challenge thing about playing hockey? Definitely the competitiveness and concentration. You always have to have concentration and be alert at every time. You never know what’s going to come at you, and what’s going to happen. If you could trade places with a celebrity, who would you choose? Jonathan Quick. He’s one of the best goalies in the world. What is one thing people do not know about you? I like country music. Luke Bryan is my favorite country singer. Who is your favorite Chicago sports team? The Blackhawks. The players they have now, it’s Julie mcmann/22nd century media always fun to watch. They have three Stanley Cups, and that has been an amazing story line for Chicago. If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be? X-ray vision. It would be cool just to look at everything. What is the best advice you have ever gotten? My dad said, “No matter what comes your way just stay positive and stay upbeat.” What is the hardest part about having your dad as your coach? The worst part is definitely having him yelling at me all the time because he knows what goes on in practice. He’s always right there. What are two things on your bucket list? Win a state championship, and have a successful life.
