Day 1
Sunday 16 th July 2017
The Pembroke Arms, Wilton (near Salisbury)
We'll meet here for an introductory talk, a
gentle grounding yoga practice, dinner and
accommodation on Sunday. It's gorgeous!
There is plenty of free parking if you are
driving. If you are arriving by public transport,
it’s a short taxi ride from Salisbury town centre.
Yoga mats and props will be provided, but feel
free to bring a mat if you like to double-up or
you have a favourite mat!
Day 2
Monday 17 th July 2017
Stonehenge Sunrise and Avebury
We’ll rise early for a private sunrise visit to Stonehenge (15
minutes from the Pembroke Arms) for meditation, chanting,
setting intentions as the sun rises between the ancient
stones. Then we’ll have breakfast at the Pembroke Arms and
check out.
We’ll transfer you to Avebury (about a 50 minute drive). If you
are driving, you can park in the National Trust car park in
Avebury village and we will transfer you with the rest of the
group to West Kennet Longbarrow. From here we will take a
gentle hike back to Avebury village via Silbury Hill, learning
about the history and ritual of these ancient monuments, and
maybe sharing a ritual or two… In Avebury village, there will
be time for lunch, and (weather permitting) yoga among the
ancient stones of one the largest stone circles in the world.
We will then make the transfer to Glastonbury (about a 1
hour drive) for dinner at Sacred Garden Retreat, and where
we will stay for two nights in very peaceful surroundings….
Day 3
Tuesday 18 th July
Glastonbury
We’ll have yoga at Chalice Well Lodge,
where most of the group will be
staying (top pictures – there is parking
here if you are driving). Some of the
group will be staying at the very
gorgeous Sacred Garden Retreat (5
minutes walk away, middle pictures).
We’ll have breakfast at Chalice Well
Lodge and then Goddess pilgrimages
to the White Spring, Chalice Well and
Glastonbury Tor. There will be time for
lunch and shopping in Glastonbury.
We’ll have dinner in at the Hundred
Monkeys restaurant, and a midnight
ritual at Chalice Well.
Day 4
Wednesday 19 th July
Beautiful Bath
We will have gentle yoga and meditation at
Chalice Well Lodge, followed by breakfast at
Chalice Well Lodge, and a Glastonbury
closing ceremony.
You can also choose to then transfer with us
(about a 50 minute drive) additionally to the
beautiful ancient city of Bath. Your time here
can be free, or as an optional extra you can
choose to enjoy an Ancient and modern
Goddess Spa Day:
This is a combined ticket to visit the ancient
Roman baths remains on the site of the
sacred spring to the Goddess Sulis, have two
hours at the fabulous modern Thermae spa,
built on the same hot spring, and enjoy a
champagne lunch or afternoon tea.
We can also recommend places to stay in
gorgeous Bath if you would like to stay until
Thursday 20th. We have booked a big table
at Brasserie Les Barriques in Bath for a group
closing dinner on Wednesday evening.
What does it cost and how do I join?
Basic Early Bird cost for Sunday 16th to Wednesday 19th including shared accommodation, yoga, talks, dinner (but

West of England Goddess Yatra Sunday 16 th – Weds 19 th July 2017
Yātrā = Sanskrit, journey or pilgrimage
Curious as to what to expect on our West of England Goddess pilgrimage? How does it fit with physical yoga practices?
Join this taster webinar session to find out.
We will work with goddess archetypes that our ancestors in Britain would have revered:
Nemetona, goddess of the threshold; Sulis, water goddess; Brighid, goddess of fire, Rhiannon, goddess of air and of
love; and The Cailleach or Morrigan, goddess of transformation.
In working with these archetypes, we can recognise them in ourselves, and find our own power to transform our lives.
