What a fantastic day and what a venue! The<br />
annual MGCCQ Display Day & The Geary<br />
Sports Cars Concours moved to a new date<br />
and new venue in <strong>2016</strong> and both proved to<br />
be inspired decisions. Over 60 cars attended<br />
the event this year which filled the venue<br />
to overflowing in the grassed area of the<br />
historic Ormiston House in Ormiston, which<br />
overlooks the beautiful Moreton Bay.<br />
Once in place, members were able to partake<br />
in a delightful Devonshire Tea supplied<br />
by the Ormiston house volunteers and later<br />
for lunch we dined on a delightful sausage<br />
sizzle provided by the local Rotary Club.<br />
Whilst members were enjoying their morning<br />
a small group of judges set to work to determine<br />
the best Daily Driver, Non Marque,<br />
Race Car and most importantly the Geary<br />
Sports Cars class winners for the Concours<br />
the results of which are shown below. Once<br />
the class winners were determined further<br />
judging took place to determine the overall<br />
period winners. The overall winner will be<br />
announced at the club’s annual Trophy Night<br />
to be held on the 28th of January 2017. I<br />
hope to see you all there.<br />

Webster and their group of helpers in putting<br />
together and pulling off such a great day.<br />
