RETURNING ROOM SELECTION<br />
& WAITLIST APPLICATION <strong>2017</strong>-2018<br />
HOUSING<br />
For students who completed Step 1 and 2 of the Returning Student Room Selection Application, Step 3:<br />
Room Selection takes place between <strong>March</strong> 1 and <strong>March</strong> 9. Each group leader (both for a multi-member group<br />
or a group of 1) received individualized room selection instructions and timeslots via email on Tuesday, February<br />
28. For multi-member groups, if a change to the group leader is needed after the timeslot is received, you will<br />
be able to change your group leader for room selection within the application.<br />
For students who did not participate in Step 1: Apply and Step 2: Grouping the last option is to participate<br />
in the waitlist process. Please remember the waitlist does not guaranteed on-campus housing for the <strong>2017</strong>-<br />
2018 academic year. Additional information about the <strong>2017</strong>-2018 On-Campus Housing Waitlist is available in the<br />
waitlist application, found in your AU Housing Portal. The first email update related to waitlist status will not be<br />
released until April 15, after the Returning Student Room Selection Process has completely finished.<br />

The annual Campus Beautification Day will take place on<br />
Tuesday, April 18 (RAINDATE: April 19) all over campus.<br />
Students, faculty, staff and the AU community are<br />
invited to help plant trees and flowers, spread much and<br />
participate in a variety of `green` activities. SIGN UP<br />
occurs 8-11 a.m. in front of the steps of Mary Graydon<br />
where you can pick up free gloves, water and a T-shirt.<br />
BBQ and raffle will follow in the Amphitheater at noon.<br />

GPA requirements: 2.75 semester, 2.5 cumulative<br />

Compensation: $11.50/hour<br />
DRs must work at least one school break (Thanksgiving, Winter early arrivals, Spring Break)<br />

Perch and Hatch Coordinators<br />
GPA requirements: 2.75 semester, 2.5 cumulative<br />

Hours: Shifts in the range of 7:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m.<br />

REMINDERS AND NOTICES<br />
It’s not too early to think about storing your<br />
belongings this summer!<br />
The on-campus UPS Store provides in-room delivery when<br />
students return in August. Stored student items are placed in<br />
a student’s assigned room before they return to school, which<br />
means no worrying in the busy weeks before school starts.<br />
Sign up to save $30 off summer storage when you sign up by<br />
<strong>March</strong> 15. Visit the AU Storage website at www.austorage.com<br />
for more information.<br />
Planning a Spring Break getaway?<br />
We encourage you to explore Student Advantage at<br />

on travel and hotel costs.<br />
Community Restroom Safety Notice<br />
Reminder that students are not permitted to enter<br />
community restrooms when barriers are placed in doorways<br />
due to safety and privacy concerns.<br />
Changes to Wireless Network<br />
Students using the legacydevices wireless network for devices that<br />
cannot connect to eagle-secure should switch to the new AUGuestbyRCN<br />
network once it becomes available. The network will go live<br />
<strong>March</strong> 21-24, after which legacydevices will not be available. As a<br />
reminder, students should continue to use eagle-secure for devices that<br />
can connect.<br />
