Blue Jacket Park in Baldwin Park, 2501<br />
General Rees Ave., Orlando, hosts the<br />
seventh annual Paws for Peace Walk, to<br />
raise funds to operate the Paws for Peace<br />
Kennel. The kennel allows survivors seeking<br />
shelter from their abusers to bring their pets<br />
with them. Time: 8-9 a.m. for registration, 9<br />
a.m.-noon for the walk. Cost: $20 general<br />
donation (includes a free T-shirt and doggie<br />
bandana). Children 12-younger are free. To<br />

April 30 — High Tea & Hats<br />
The Ballroom at Rosen Plaza Hotel, 9700<br />
International Drive, Orlando, hosts the 10th<br />
annual Seniors First High Tea & Hats, including<br />
a luncheon with traditional tea time fare,<br />
silent and chance auctions, a “stylish hat”<br />
parade, and contest. There is also an “Itsy<br />
Bitsy” hat parade just for children. Time:<br />
2-5 p.m. Cost: $65 for adults, $40 for children<br />
