Q. Help! The LUIS screen is blank.
What do I need to do to get it
back?
A. OPEN SESAME! Just kidding.
All you need to do is type "lusf'
(without the quotation marks)
and LUIS will be ready for your
commands.
Q. Is it possible to perform Medline
searches from the computer at my
home or office?
A. Absolutely! If you are "hooked
up" via your modem to USF, you
may access Medline through LUIS.
On the LUIS screen labeled "USF
MAIN MENU" select no.16-
Indexes to Articles and Reports.
The next screen lists numerous
indexes. No.24 is Medline dating
from 1994-present See MedNet
column in this issue for mj)re info.
*Luis will answer general questions from time to time or when "Ie spirit" moves him.
