About the photographers
Vinid Rangpueng
is a travel writer/
photographer with
over 30 years of
experience. He has
published more than
500 articles and
photographs. His
keen interest in marine life and underwater
photography resulted in more than 2
decades of experience as a professional
marine photographer. He is the Editor of the
well-recognised “Andaman and Beyond”
photography book. Also, his pocket book
documentary about the underwater world
received the Thailand National Book Award
in 1995. At present, he works as Director of
Promotional Materials, Production Division,
Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Nat Sumanatemeya has had a
special relationship with the
sea since his father took him on
trips as a youngster. He learned
to skin dive at an early age but
hadn’t considered scuba diving
until later in life. Once he did,
Nat started taking photos of the
exquisite underwater world.
Nat apprenticed at the travel magazine Orsoto,
which was affiliated with the current Tourism Authority
of Thailand, as a photographer and a freelance writer
from 1994-1999. He later cofounded a travel magazine
and became a photo editor until 2007. Now a freelance
writer, photographer, and documentary filmmaker, he
specialises in scenes of the underwater world. Above
water, Nat also shoots aerial photos for Loksopha
documentaries to capture the beauty of the aquatic
underworld across the globe.
