About the photographers<br />
V<strong>in</strong>id Rangpueng<br />
is a travel writer/<br />
photographer with<br />
over 30 years <strong>of</strong><br />
experience. He has<br />
published more than<br />
500 articles and<br />
photographs. His<br />
keen <strong>in</strong>terest <strong>in</strong> mar<strong>in</strong>e life and underwater<br />
photography resulted <strong>in</strong> more than 2<br />
decades <strong>of</strong> experience as a pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
mar<strong>in</strong>e photographer. He is the Editor <strong>of</strong> the<br />
well-recognised “Andaman and Beyond”<br />
photography book. Also, his pocket book<br />
documentary about the underwater world<br />
received the Thailand National Book Award<br />
<strong>in</strong> 1995. At present, he works as Director <strong>of</strong><br />
Promotional Materials, Production Division,<br />
Tourism Authority <strong>of</strong> Thailand.<br />
Nat Sumanatemeya has had a<br />
special relationship with the<br />
sea s<strong>in</strong>ce his father took him on<br />
trips as a youngster. He learned<br />
to sk<strong>in</strong> dive at an early age but<br />
hadn’t considered scuba div<strong>in</strong>g<br />
until later <strong>in</strong> life. Once he did,<br />
Nat started tak<strong>in</strong>g photos <strong>of</strong> the<br />
exquisite underwater world.<br />
Nat apprenticed at the travel <strong>magaz<strong>in</strong>e</strong> Orsoto,<br />
which was affiliated with the current Tourism Authority<br />
<strong>of</strong> Thailand, as a photographer and a freelance writer<br />
from 1994-1999. He later c<strong>of</strong>ounded a travel <strong>magaz<strong>in</strong>e</strong><br />
and became a photo editor until 2007. Now a freelance<br />
writer, photographer, and documentary filmmaker, he<br />
specialises <strong>in</strong> scenes <strong>of</strong> the underwater world. Above<br />
water, Nat also shoots aerial photos for Loksopha<br />
documentaries to capture the beauty <strong>of</strong> the aquatic<br />
underworld across the globe.<br />
