Children’s Programs<br />

BABY TIME!<br />
Monday mornings at 9:30 a.m.<br />
Bring your baby (6 months through 12 months, or not yet walking) to enjoy a short storytime filled with songs, rhymes,<br />
movement, bubbles and parachute fun, then stay and play. No registration necessary, just drop in.<br />
STEM STORYTIME (Formerly Science-Tots)<br />
Each Monday through <strong>April</strong> 24 10 a.m. OR 1 p.m.<br />
It’s time again for STEM Storytime. Each storytime is related to a STEM theme with stories, songs, games and an experiment for children between<br />
three and five years old and their caregivers. No registration is required for this program. We will meet under the tree in the Children’s Department.<br />
PRESCHOOL BLOCK PARTY<br />
Monday, <strong>April</strong> 3 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.<br />
Preschoolers age three to five with their grown-ups are invited to come and build social skills, STEM knowledge, and vocabulary while playing<br />
with wooden blocks, magnet tiles, Lincoln Logs and more! Only two rules: no throwing blocks, and no knocking down someone else’s creation. No<br />
registration required.<br />
INTERNATIONAL CARROT DAY<br />
Tuesday, <strong>April</strong> 4 between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.<br />
Drop in to see how we are celebrating all things carrot! Face painting and carrot science (10:30-11:30 a.m.; 1:30-2:30<br />
p.m.), carrot snacks, carrot coloring, carrot hat contest*, and other carrot activities.<br />
*Carrot hat contest-make a carrot hat, take a picture of yourself or someone else wearing the hat, email the picture to<br />
Jeanne Bondi at bondij@einetwork.net. Pictures will be posted to Wilbur Fezziwig’s Facebook page for voting! Picture’s<br />

MISSION…<br />

Ready for your next Mission? If you are in third, fourth or fifth grade and you like to solve problems, find out how things work and create things<br />
from your imagination, sign up for some engineering fun. This is an hour-long adventure and registration is required.<br />

Children ages three to five along with their care giver can come on down to the Library for a 30-minute storytime. Children<br />
can enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and rhythms. This program runs at the same time as our Storytime Tots, but is meant for<br />
children in (or about to enter) preschool. No registration required.<br />
STORYTIME TOTS<br />

A “wiggler” program of songs, action rhymes and stories for parents, toddlers and young preschoolers who might not be ready to be on their<br />
own in the Preschool Storytime. This program runs at the same time as our regular Preschool Storytime, but is just a tad shorter. No registration<br />
required.<br />
STORYTIME FOR LITTLE WIGGLERS<br />
Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 p.m. until <strong>April</strong> 19<br />
Library fun for babies, toddlers and their grownups! Rhymes, stories, tickles, bounces, music and movement to promote<br />
pre-reading and beginning social skills. No registration needed, just drop in. Pajamas welcome.<br />
MUSIC & MOVEMENT<br />
Each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. until <strong>April</strong> 20<br />
Music & Movement is back! This program will take place under the tree in the Children’s Department. Children able to<br />
sit through a thirty-minute storytime with music, simple instruments, scarves and dancing are welcome to join us. No<br />
registration required.
