JAYANAGAR<br />
The meeting was held on the 12th March at the S.R.Pillai<br />
Memorial Hall of Jayanagar Karayogam and chaired by<br />
Vice President Sri. PKR Panicker. Secretary Sri. G Prem,<br />
welcomed the participants. The meeting commenced with<br />
lighting of the lamp and a silent prayer. The EC approved the<br />
Minutes of the last meeting and the Statement of Accounts<br />
for the month of January 2016 presented by the Treasurer.<br />
The EC accepted the new memberships of Sri. Sree Hari<br />
and Sri. Prasad Kumar Manavazhi and welcomed them<br />
to KNSS family. The Treasurer briefed on the collection<br />
of funds for Financial Assistance for a Nair family in<br />
distress to continue their children’s education and treatment<br />
for kidney related ailment of the members wife. The EC<br />
requested all the members to contribute towards the same.<br />
The EC reviewed on the progress of BBMP Tax payment of<br />
Karayogam Building and requested to speed up the process.<br />
The EC updated the change of Tenant in one of the Flats of<br />
the Karayogam and approved the expenses for its upkeep<br />
and maintenance. The EC concluded with a vote of thanks<br />
by the Vice President.<br />
KGF<br />
Monthly EC meeting of the Karayogam was held at 4 P.M.<br />
on 5-3-17 at Karayogam office. Meeting started with prayer<br />
and Acharya Vandanam. President Sri. Sukumaran Nambiar<br />
welcomed all to the meeting and appreciated the Mahila<br />
Vibhag “Sargachaithanya” for the active participation in<br />
the very successful KNSS Mahila Convention. He also<br />
urged to do all the best to make the Attukal Pongala a<br />
grand success. The minutes of the previous meeting and<br />
accounts of previous month were presented and passed. The<br />
meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Jt. Secretary Sri.<br />
R Ravindran with special mention of EC member Sri. Udaya<br />
Kumar for providing refreshments.<br />
KOTHANUR<br />
The monthly EC meeting of KNSS was held at the<br />
Karayogam office at 6 PM on 12th March 2017, under the<br />
Presidentship of Mr Radhakrishnan Nair. Meeting started<br />
with Prayer followed by Acharya Vandanam. President<br />
Mr. Radhakrishnan welcomed all the members. Minutes of<br />
meeting was read by Secretary Mr. Arunlal and Statement<br />

of accounts was read by Treasurer Mr. E K Ramakrishnan<br />
and was passed by the committee. President thanked all the<br />
members including Youth wing, women’s wing for their<br />
active participation and coordination for Attukal pongala.<br />
We had over 100 pongala’s including koottu pongala.<br />
Special thanks were given to Board representatives Vice<br />
Chairman I, Advt. Vijaya Kumar and Mr. K.V.Goplakrishnan<br />
Joint General Secretary I. Secretary appreciated and<br />
thanked MS Nagar Youth wing President Mr. Sandeep for<br />
supporting our youth wing for Pongala activities.President<br />
requested to improve participation of Youth wing. And<br />
to call meeting in advance and allocate some task to all<br />
members. President thanked Mr. Muralidharan (ISRO) for<br />
donating a Varpu (Uruli). Secretary and Treasurer thanks<br />
all the members and Shabariswara Trust for their active<br />
participation and coordination for Attukal pongala. Board<br />
member Mr. Ratheesh called President Mr Radhakrishnan<br />
and appreciated him effort for make the Pongala grand<br />
success. We had 2 new members joining us this month and<br />
committee passed the application. Mr. Balan our member<br />
given request letter for financial help from benevolent fund<br />
for his wife treatments. President and secretary request all<br />
the member to come forward and be the part of our upcoming<br />
AGT committee. Mr. Ratheesh suggested combine board<br />
meeting to AGT. Meeting ends with vote of thanks by<br />
Secretary Mr. Arunlal.<br />
MAlleswaram<br />
Karayogam Mahila Vibhagam jointly with Karayogam<br />
and Youth Wing celebrated International Women's Day<br />
on Sunday 19th March. The function started at 10.30 am.<br />
Aurvedic doctor Dr. Mini Nair was the chief guest. After the<br />
function Karayogam conducted its EC meeting for the month<br />
of March at 4pm at Karayogam office. After prayer and<br />
Acharya smarana the President extended a warm welcome<br />
to the members. The committee discussed various matters.<br />
President informed that the Board of Directors meeting<br />
on Sunday 26th March will be hosted by Malleswaram<br />
Karayogam and requested all the EC members to attend the<br />
same. The meeting concluded at 7pm with vote of thanks<br />
by Secretary.<br />
