Seniors First seeks 50 volunteers to assist in
fulfilling the high demand of its Meals on
Wheels program, which provides meals and
outreach to seniors who are unable to prepare
or have meals otherwise provided. There
are eight pickup areas in the Greater Orlando
area, and the commitment is once per week
for approximately 1.5-2 hours on weekday
mornings. Volunteers must be 18-older, and
have a valid driver license, insurance and

April 15 & 16 — Volunteers Needed
Southeastern Food Bank, a division of Bread of
Life Fellowship, seeks volunteers for the annual
Food for Families Easter Food Project, which
provides food to more than 1,200 families in
west Orange County. Volunteers meet at Ocoee
High School, 1925 Ocoee Crown Point Parkway,
Ocoee, on Saturday at 7 p.m. for the first shift or
10:30 p.m. for the second shift to set up the work
area, unload food, and sort and pack boxes for
those in need. Bread arrives after 10:30 p.m.
and is sorted and boxed. On Easter morning,
volunteer drivers line up at OHS’s bus loop to
get boxes of food and directions to deliver to
families. Two delivery times are available to
accommodate church services: 8 a.m. and 11
a.m. Registration is not required, just show up
