Seniors First seeks 50 volunteers to assist in<br />

fulfilling the high demand of its Meals on<br />

Wheels program, which provides meals and<br />

outreach to seniors who are unable to prepare<br />

or have meals otherwise provided. There<br />

are eight pickup areas in the Greater Orlando<br />

area, and the commitment is once per week<br />

for approximately 1.5-2 hours on weekday<br />

mornings. Volunteers must be 18-older, and<br />

have a valid driver license, insurance and<br />

April 15 & 16 — Volunteers Needed<br />

Southeastern Food Bank, a division of Bread of<br />

Life Fellowship, seeks volunteers for the annual<br />

Food for Families Easter Food Project, which<br />

provides food to more than 1,200 families in<br />

west Orange County. Volunteers meet at Ocoee<br />

High School, 1925 Ocoee Crown Point Parkway,<br />

Ocoee, on Saturday at 7 p.m. for the first shift or<br />

10:30 p.m. for the second shift to set up the work<br />

area, unload food, and sort and pack boxes for<br />

those in need. Bread arrives after 10:30 p.m.<br />

and is sorted and boxed. On Easter morning,<br />

volunteer drivers line up at OHS’s bus loop to<br />

get boxes of food and directions to deliver to<br />

families. Two delivery times are available to<br />

accommodate church services: 8 a.m. and 11<br />

a.m. Registration is not required, just show up<br />
