FROM THE EDITOR
Welcome to our new look Fitness
Journal – now called INSPO
Fitness Journal to reflect the expanding
horizons of our popular monthly
publication.
While we have always been, and still
are, committed to health, fitness, wellbeing
and nutrition, we also touch on elements
of lifestyle, beauty and design.
Our INSPO rename is to reflect our
focus on all things inspiring. Part of this
also involves a redesign. We hope you love
our new look (it’s bigger and better than
before).
In this issue we’re packed with content
around women’s health and wellbeing (as
our nod to Mother’s Day), as well as the
World Masters Games and profiling some
awesome young (and older) athletes.
Don’t forget to head to our website
(fitnessjournal.co.nz) which is packed with
informative articles and tips, as well as
ideas to hopefully inspire you to try some
new experiences.
2 / ALISHA LOVRICH /
CONTRIBUTING WRITER
Alisha Lovrich is just as comfortable
on the track as she is capturing the
action through the eye of her lens. As
New Zealand Pole Vault’s official photographer,
she is also a freelance action
and lifestyle photographer. “I love
capturing moments that are special for
that point in time which you can’t replicate
ever again.” Her graphic design
background is the perfect compliment
to her artistic eye, and her photography
utilises both skills. Alisha is also a keen
runner, competing in track and is a
pacer for Nike Run Club in Auckland.
