YOUTH DEVELOPMENT DISCOVERY CAMP ( ages 3 – Entering K) Discovery Camp is an exciting introduction to Summer Day Camp for your little one! It is the perfect solution for summer daycare that will also provide opportunities for school readiness. Campers will learn and play at the YMCA and walk to area parks. Activities include arts & crafts, music, visits to the library, fitness, games, and much more! Counselor to Camper ratio is approximately 1:7. Each week has a special theme that incorporates fun, learning, and our core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. The Camp day runs from 8:00am- 5:00pm, however we offer the opportunity for parents to drop their child off at 7:30am and pick them up by 6:00pm. Lunch will be provided for all campers! Full Week: 7:30am - 6:00pm, $152 Member / $195 Non-Member Up to 3 days: 7:30am - 6:00pm $95 Member / $121 Non-Member Up to 3 Day Option gives you the freedom to choose what 3 days you want to attend camp. Financial Assistance available for camp fees. CAMP SPIRIT (entering grades 1-5) Camp Spirit is a great summer day camp for children who need summer-long activities, as well as those looking for a week-long adventure! Each day is a new experience with this traditional day camp. Enjoy new and exciting field trips every week! Themes include nature, sports, arts and crafts, literacy, drama, and camp songs. Each week is highlighted by one of these themes while also emphasizing the YMCA Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, & Responsibility. The counselor to camper ratio is approximately 1:12. The Camp day runs from 8:00am-5:00pm, however we offer the opportunity for parents to drop their child off at 7:30am and pick them up by 6:00pm. Lunch will be provided for all campers! Full Week: 7:30am - 6:00pm, $152 Member / $195 Non-Member Up to 3 days: 7:30am - 6:00pm $95 Member / $121 Non-Member Up to 3 Day Option gives you the freedom to choose what 3 days you want to attend camp. LIT CAMP (entering grades 6th-8th) For older campers who want to get a little more from their camp experience. LITs will work with experienced camp staff to become leaders in life through hands on training. The Camp Spirit LIT program focuses on cooperation, team building, and leadership skills. LITs will leave with a greater sense of themselves and the necessary skills to be a positive leader. Lunch will be provided for all campers! Full Week: 7:30am - 6:00pm; $131 Member / $174 Non-Member Up to 3 days: 7:30am - 6:00pm; $89 Member / $115 Non-Member KINDERGARTEN CAMP (One Week Camp for boys & girls entering Kindergarten) Kindergarten Camp is a one week day camp covering the last week of summer for new Kindergarteners, September 5-8. Each day is a new experience with this traditional day camp. Enjoy games, arts and crafts, swimming, local parks, and more! The counselor to camper ratio is approximately 1:8. The Camp day runs from 8:00am-5:00pm, however we offer the opportunity for parents to drop their child off at 7:30am and pick them up by 6:00pm. Lunch will be provided for all campers! Full Week: 7:30am - 6:00pm, $122 Member $156 Non-Member

SWIM & WATER SAFETY PRESCHOOL LESSONS PARENT/CHILD (ages 9mos – 3yrs ) Parents and their child learning fundamental safety & aquatic skills from a certified instructor. PIKE (ages 3-5) - Beginning Swimmer Little swimmers develop safe pool habits, adjust to the water, and basic paddle stroke. EEL (ages 3-5) Child is comfortable in the water. Swimmer is taught to kick, dive, float and paddle stroke. RAY (ages 3-5) Child can swim independently without a floatation device. STARFISH (ages 3-5) Child improves stroke skills, builds endurance, and treads water. Child can swim on their front and back without assistance. YOUTH LESSONS POLLIWOG (ages 6-14) Beginner Level I Become acquainted with the water, floatation devices, and pool. Students will learn paddle stroke, side and back paddle. GUPPY (ages 6-14) Level 2 Introduction to lead-up strokes: Front and back crawl, sidestroke, breaststroke, and elementary backstroke. MINNOW (ages 6-14) Level 3 Refine the lead-up strokes: Front and back crawl, sidestroke, breaststroke, and elementary backstroke. FISH (ages 6-14) (Level 4) Students work to perform the crawl stroke, elementary backstroke, back crawl stroke, and side stroke with turns. Introduction to butterfly stroke. To advance, students must be able to swim all strokes 50 yards without stopping. FLYING FISH (ages 6-14) Level 5 Perform the front crawl, back stroke, elem. back stroke, side stroke, and breast stroke; tread water for three minutes and swim all stroke 100 yards. SHARK (ages 6-14) Level 6 Swimmers focus on perfecting strokes and increasing endurance with open and flip turns. Students also learn advanced skills in boating, safety, and rescues.
