E X C L U S I V E B Y L A R A A N D M I A Our Furniture Journey This term we have done many things with our furniture. We've written letters and done research. We even made a bookshelf out of computer boxes! It all started at the start of the year. Everyone had noticed that we didn't have any furniture (A.K.A book shelves, whiteboard and others) and our class has decided to do something about it People really wanted a bookcase so we used the old chromebook boxes for a recycled book shelf. It worked for a while but then people started to complain we did not have furniture and other classes did. <strong>S6</strong> | 5 We also didn't have a white board and everyone wanted one. So that's when Mrs. Thompson came in with her idea to persuade Mrs. Dean to improve the school in some ways. A couple of students decided to attempt to get a bookshelf and a whiteboard. And that’s when the letter returned with a reply. This was her reply, "we can certainly provide a large whiteboard for you all, I think Mr. Chalmers appreciate that. We can also get a book case, although I must say I like how innovative you have been with the boxes". So we had done it! There was an unused whiteboard and two book shelves in the school. Wasn't that great! Early one morning we went down to their location and brought them up to our class. Now we have a beautiful book shelf and a cool whiteboard and we are so excited about our furniture. We use our whiteboard and bookshelf all the time. We hope you learnt something about our furniture.
