Due to the nature of our business all website bookings are provisional until confirmed by us. We ask you for your<br />

preferred seating allocation during the booking process and will confirm your seat numbers<br />

after you have booked. We shall try to meet your seating requirements where possible, but<br />

Entrance tickets not included unless stated. All seats are sold on a first come, first served basis. We allocate seats on our excursions which will be honoured wherever<br />

possible. However, we reserve the right to change your seat should circumstances deem necessary. We will make every effort to carry out the programme and<br />

itineraries as advertised, but must reserve the right to cancel any excursion or alter routes, timings or stopping places without prior notice due to circumstances beyond<br />

our control.<br />

Cancellations & Refunds. If we are forced to cancel any excursion, a full refund will be made. In the event of a customer cancelling we shall apply charges in line with<br />

the scale below. Tickets cannot be transferred to future trips.<br />

departure time. All bookings must be pre-booked - we cannot pick you up if you are not booked.<br />

For the vast majority of trips we aim to stay at the destination for around 4 ½ hours. We may have to alter timings if<br />

After leaving Windsor Promenade at 11.00am we enjoy excellent views of Windsor Castle<br />

and Eton College. After passing Windsor racecourse, the boat goes through Boveney<br />

Lock and passes Sutherland Grange, The Willows and Bray Film Studios. It then heads<br />

towards Oakley Court, Queen's Eyot and Monkey Island where the boat turns for the<br />

journey back to Windsor arriving at 1.30pm. While you take in the beautiful scenery of the<br />

museums, galleries, fabulous shopping and a huge choice of eating places to suit any<br />

Worthing has become a popular destination with our customers for a day out. Rich in history, the town grew to become a firm favourite with the royal, the rich and the<br />

Windsor<br />

Tuesday 9th Watercress Railway Line & Jane Austen's House ROUTE A<br />

Step back in time to the Golden Age of the train on board one of the Watercress Line's steam or heritage diesel locomotives as they run through ten miles of rolling Hampshire<br />

countryside, along the northern edge of the new South Downs National Park. Our day begins as we head to the delightful Hampshire village of Chawton. Jane Austen's<br />

House Museum is a fascinating place to visit for anyone with an interest in literature and is located in the heart of the village. We continue to the lovely town of Alton where<br />

you can find a nice café for lunch or maybe enjoy a packed lunch in the park. After lunch we board the train for the 40 minute trip to New Alresford with time to enjoy this<br />

Tuesday 9th City of Bath ROUTE A<br />

Bath is brimming (sorry!) with things to see and do. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Bath presents some of the finest architectural sights in Europe such as<br />

the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Pulteney Bridge alongside a diverse collection of<br />

museums and attractions including the Roman Baths, Royal Crescent and Thermae Bath<br />

Spa. Bath's compact city centre enjoys a wonderful atmosphere and offers irresistible<br />

Thursday 11th Kennet & Avon Canal Trip ROUTE A<br />

Please book early to avoid disappointment as these trips are extremely popular. We<br />

travel up to the beautiful town of Bradford on Avon near Bath and board the superb M V<br />

Barbara McLellan broad beam boat. Enjoy the wildlife and countryside on our 3 hour<br />

cruise along tranquil stretches of water with magnificent panoramic views including<br />

crossing the Avoncliff Aqueduct. We recommend that you bring a packed lunch - drinks<br />

Friday 12th Chartwell House, Kent - National Trust ROUTE K<br />

Once the much-loved Churchill family home and the place from which Sir Winston drew<br />

inspiration, the rooms remain much as they were when he lived here, with pictures,<br />

books and personal mementoes evoking the career and wide-ranging interests of a great<br />

statesman, writer, painter and family man. The hillside gardens reflect Sir Winston’s love<br />

of the landscape and nature. They include the lakes he created, the kitchen garden and<br />

the Marycot playhouse. Beyond the gardens there is an expanse of woodland to explore<br />

The picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural<br />

with a lovely selection of shops and tempting tearooms leading to the 13th-century Cobb harbour as featured in the film 'The French Lieutenant's Woman'. A lovely destination<br />

Tuesday 16th Isle of Wight Tour with local guide<br />

ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR DAYS. After joining the ferry from Southampton we will be joined by one of our local guides for a tour of the Island – we try to see as much<br />

as possible during the day. The island boasts 60 miles of spectacular coastline and beautiful countryside. We take in many of the best sights and usually include Newport,<br />

Wednesday 17th Dorchester Market & Weymouth ROUTE Y<br />

Lovely day out as we visit our historic county town in the heart of 'Hardy's country and boasting elegant 18th century houses, interesting museums, good shopping and a<br />

great Market on Wednesdays. Afterwards we travel to Weymouth with time in this rejuvenated traditional seaside resort. Adults/Over 60/Child - £12.00<br />

Wednesday 17th London - Marble Arch ROUTE A<br />

Excellent day to the Capital with so much to see and explore in this area. Marble Arch is on Hyde Park at the end of Oxford Street, where there is some of the best shopping<br />

in the country but there is so much more. On the opposite edge of Hyde Park is Kensington Palace, whilst nearby is the Royal Albert Hall and the many excellent Museums in<br />

Knightsbridge including the Science and Natural History. Further afield is Portobello Road or you could head down to The Thames. So much to do!<br />

Thursday 18th Ham House & Gardens, National Trust ROUTE A<br />

Beautifully situated on the banks of The Thames near to Richmond, Ham House is a<br />

wonderful stately 17th century home with a fascinating history surrounding the English<br />

Civil War. The house is excellent, with collections of textiles, furniture and paintings dating<br />

back over 400 years plus discover how life was for the servants above and below stairs.<br />

Outside the splendid formal gardens and huge kitchen gardens have been restored to<br />

some of their former glory. Lovely day out. Price included entrance.<br />

Thursday 18th Polesden Lacey, Surrey - National Trust ROUTE A<br />

Step back in to the Edwardian age at this magnificent country retreat near Dorking. Once<br />

the home of one of the great society hostesses of the time, the house entertained the<br />

celebrities and royalty of the age. The house was transformed into a glittering spectacle by<br />

the same architects who designed The Ritz Hotel in London. Amongst the rooms there is<br />

an extensive collection of fine art from Dutch old masters to ceramics including Faberge<br />

eggs. Outside, there are lovely grounds to explore with splendid gardens and woodland for<br />

those who want a longer walk. Facilities include the Granary Café which serves a selection<br />

of hot and cold food. Price includes entrance.<br />

Enjoy a great day out to Portsmouth. We drop close to the excellent Gunwharf Quays<br />

shopping and leisure development and the Historic Dockyard. Located on the harbour,<br />

GunWharf is site of the impressive Spinnaker Tower and over 95 shopping outlets and 30<br />

cafes and restaurants. Shops include Next Clearance, Animal, Fred Perry, Barbour, Levis,<br />

Karen Millen and many more. Boat trips also available from the marina. Alternatively you<br />

can spend your day in the superb Historic Dockyard which traces the history of the Royal<br />

Navy over the ages. Attractions include Nelson’s HMS Victory, Henry VIII’s Mary Rose,<br />

Friday 19th Forde Abbey & Gardens, Somerset ROUTE Z<br />

This superb former Medieval Abbey was founded by Cistercian Monks in 1140 and<br />

became one of the richest monasteries in the country. Set in the lovely Somerset<br />

countryside, the house is surrounded by 30 acres of award winning gardens described by<br />

Alan Titchmarsh as 'One of the great gardens in the West Country'. The garden offers<br />

something for every season with Spring bulbs and Summer borders. Around the grounds<br />

there are sculptures and architectural features plus a cascade of lakes and the<br />

impressive Centenary Fountain, at 160ft the highest powered fountain in England. Inside<br />

you can discover the lives of monks in the fascinating Monastic Rooms whilst the house<br />

contains fine furniture and houses the ornate Mortlake tapestries. Head for the Undercroft<br />

Tearoom for delicious homemade food for lunch. There is also a gift shop, plant centre<br />

One of the best National Trust destinations in the South of England. The celebrated 18th Century landscaped gardens of Stourhead are world famous and your first sight of<br />

the lake will leave you amazed. There are stunning views around the grounds and gothic temples, monuments and rare plants surround the tranquil lake. The Palladian<br />

Great value day out to the excellent WestQuay shopping centre in the centre of<br />

selection of restaurants to choose from - Nando's, Pizza Express, The Chicago Rib<br />

and superb shopping. The Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library and Bridge of Sighs<br />

make up just a few of the famous picturesque buildings of Oxford. Its charming scenery<br />

has been the inspiration for many, including Lewis Carroll and J.R.R Tolkien. There are<br />

also many recognisable scenes from popular films such as Harry Potter and TV series<br />

pleasure boat ride. For the more adventurous you could take a ride on the Jurassic Skyline Tower which rises 53 metres above the resort's well-known Festival Pier with<br />

the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal. This wide beam passenger boat was purpose built for carrying passengers and is powered solely by the towing action of the horse making<br />

Lovely day out as we visit our historic county town in the heart of 'Hardy's country and boasting elegant 18th century houses, interesting museums, good shopping and a<br />

great Market on Wednesdays. Afterwards we travel to Weymouth with time in this rejuvenated traditional seaside resort. The wide award winning three mile beach has<br />

beautiful sand and a level promenade with traditional facilities to enjoy. In the town there<br />

is a great selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs or why not enjoy some<br />

takeaway fish and chips. Head to the harbour lined by Georgian houses and watch the<br />
