A joint venture between Western Australian Mint (subsidiary of <strong>Gold</strong> Corporation) and Australian <strong>Gold</strong> Alliance Pty Ltd (major<br />

shareholder Newmont Australia). Located in Perth, Western Australia. TT and 1000 g bars normally feature the brand name<br />

and logo of the Perth Mint. LBMA accreditation (1928).<br />

South Africa<br />

Harmony <strong>Gold</strong> Mining Company Ltd<br />

A leading South African gold mining company. The refinery, established in 1997, is located in Virginia, 300 km south of<br />

Johannesburg.<br />

Rand Refinery Limited<br />

Owned by leading South African gold mining companies. Located in Germiston, near Johannesburg. LBMA accreditation<br />

(1921). The refinery also produces 5 tola cast bars.<br />

Switzerland<br />

Argor-Heraeus SA<br />

Commerzbank International SA (Luxembourg) and Heraeus GmbH (Germany) are major shareholders. <strong>Bars</strong> feature the<br />

brand name and logo of Commerzbank or Argor-Heraeus. Located in Mendrisio, near Chiasso. LBMA accreditation (1961).<br />

Metalor Technologies International SA<br />

Subsidiary of UBS Warburg. <strong>Bars</strong> normally feature the brand name and logo of UBS. Located in Neuchatel. LBMA<br />

accreditation (before 1934).<br />

Pamp SA<br />

Associated with MKS Finance SA. Located in San Pietro, near Chiasso. LBMA accreditation (1987).<br />

Valcambi SA<br />

A subsidiary of Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB). <strong>Bars</strong> normally feature the brand name of Credit Suisse. Located in Balerna,<br />

United Kingdom<br />

Johnson Matthey Plc<br />

Public listed company. TT bars are made not only at its refinery in Royston (UK), but also in Melbourne (Australia). LBMA<br />
