MondiArt is a dynamic company that has been producing

and importing wall decorations for thirty years. Throughout

the years, MondiArt has developed into a high- profile family

business. Together with our dedicated team of thirty employees,

we’re committed to offer a continuously renewed and updated range of

products to our long-standing customers.

Our extensive collection comprises a large diversity of products ranging

from small, framed reproductions to contemporary oil paintings in abstract,

modern, figurative and other styles. In addition, we offer stylish, modern

reproductions and trendy frames in various sizes and designs.

Due to an intensive cooperation with publishers all over the world, we

can offer our customers an assortment that covers a whole spectrum of

possibilities

In this presentation we would like to introduce some of the

artists and their work

They say you see life at its best half close your eyes. For me personally is

that with my eyes half open behind my viewfinder of my camera. Looking

through the lens images, lines, shapes and colors.

I see myself as a storyteller. This offers opportunities but also great

challenges. Simple is not it exciting.

Eric Baak

My inspiration comes from my daily environment: people, events, as

well as social media. I spray of ideas and try to regularly take time

to bring these ideas into practice.

Photography is not just writing for me with light, for me it’s “a way

of life”!

I am fascinated by photographing old abandoned buildings.

Also known as Urbex Exploration . Not just shooting it, but also

the background of such property: “Storing things are forgotten

otherwise.”

I like to challenge me, whether it is a workshop, business reportage

or a family shoot or wedding photographs.

Born in Paris, 1972. I spent much of my childhood in Paris. I come from a creative family. My

mother attended the art academy in Paris, my father is a fan of everything to do with film.

From an early age I had a camera at my disposal. That was still in the days of the 35mm film.

In those days you had to know really well how an extensive camera worked. Creativity with

ISO, aperture and shutter speeds and learning how to align these was an art at that time.

Olivier Lacour

Over the years I’ve developed a passion for decay; the decay of buildings especially

attracts me. That can also be anything. Schools, factories, castles, hotels, cinemas,

hospitals, etc. Photography in this particular area is also called “Urban Exploring

(U.E.)”. It’s a small specialisation which is difficult to enter. The reason is that all

the dilapidated sites that are interesting to photograph must remain secret as long

as possible. The natural decay must remain intact as long as possible and do so by

itself naturally. The elements that are present at one location must stay there as

they are. We don’t like graffiti artists, thieves, tourists and other riffraff at “our”

locations. In the U.E. world there is one golden rule; Take only photographs and

leave nothing but footprints. In other words, respect your environment and leave

it as you found it, so that other photographers may also enjoy it.

The photos you are looking at are made with the technique known as HDR.

This abbreviation stands for High Dynamic Range. With this technique, the

weak characteristic of the camera, the limited dynamic range, is reduced as far

as possible. The bottom line is that one photo is produced with multiple images.

Multiple pictures are taken with different exposure times. Let’s take three photos

of the same object as an example. The first image is underexposed, the second

image normally exposed and the last image overexposed. Then these three images are

combined into one photo in which all parts (shadows and arc lights) are perfectly exposed

using specific software.

Photographer Wil Crooymans works with a select group of adventurous models to capture the magic of abandoned

buildings in his own way. The beauty of the models is both in contrast and harmony with abandoned castles,

dying industry and churches left alone to their fate. Get moved through the beautiful photographs of

buildings, fighting against the ravages of time, brought back to life with female beauty.

Wil Crooymans

“It all started in the spring of 2014 when I bought a new camera. I saw on the Internet pictures

of urban exploring, also called urbex. This is photographing abandoned buildings that are usually

left to their fate. I saw many beautiful pictures and was hooked. I went on the internet

looking for sites and visited soon an abandoned villa in Belgium, armed with camera and

tripod.

Quite exciting to enter an abandoned building without permission, but curiosity wins

quickly from fear! Once inside I’m in another world. A world of decay, with beautiful

colors and details.

I was pleased with the initial results and received favorable responses from my

environment. Yet the images for me were still not finished and I got the inspiration

to bring the buildings back to life with a model. A female model, vulnerable and

naked, wherein the smooth skin contrasts with the rough walls and floors. Naked, to

establish no relationship with a particular culture and time.

Both the models and I enjoy every day we are on the road, with Abandoned Beauty

pictures as a result! And we want to share them with you!

Great to follow your passion!”

“I feel like an invader entering abandoned buildings unannounced and without

permission. Stepping inside my heart pounds, not knowing what awaits me and fearsome

of being caught. Stepping into a building that exhales history, receiving no attention and

human warmth for many years, it’s just forgotten and left to die. Once being proud and stately,

full of life.

Now nature strikes back, cuts through iron and stone, covers floors with carpets of moss, strips the walls of

all its splendor, and decorates windows with climbing plants. I find myself in an another world.”
