- 440c steel is the most popular for scissor manufacture in Japan. It has a higher density, which makes a<br />
smoother surface possible. This steel re-sharpens well and will give scissors a good all round feel and a<br />
more durable edge than many other metals. We recommend these scissors for groomers of all levels,<br />
who want a workhorse scissor, with an outstanding cutting ability.<br />

The 440C Steel we use for our Poseidon & Triton ranges have a Rockwell Hardness<br />
Rating of 58 - which means the metal is hard and will hold it’s sharpness for a<br />
long time. 440C also offers great corrosion resistance!<br />
