Lee & Diana Humphrey, right, with Lyric Stage’s Associate Artistic Director, A. Nora Long Introducing Our Season Sponsors: Lee & Diana Humphrey Tell us what keeps bringing you to the Lyric Stage? We always say that when we go to the Lyric Stage, we’d better know our lines. The actors, the action, it’s all so close, you feel like you’re a part of the show. There’s nothing else like it in town. How did you get involved as sponsors? We started as the sponsors of a play, Saturday Night/Sunday Morning which we thought was wonderful. Keith Mascoll from the cast came to visit a theatre class Lee had at Regis. Later that year, we hosted playwright Carla Ching in our home when she was visiting the Lyric Stage’s production of Fast Company. And recently, we had lunch with Jasmine Rush from Saturday Night/Sunday Morning and Barbecue. We love getting to know the artists who make all these wonderful shows possible. Why should other people get involved with the Lyric Stage? The City of Boston has a big cultural plan but it’s the people in the city who really are the ones that step up and make big changes. There’s so much potential here and it doesn’t take much to help the artists in our community. Now is the time to get in on the act! We have production, artist, and design element sponsorships available for next season. For more information, please call Matt Chapuran, Managing Director, at 617.585.5682 or email Michael Hisamoto, Gillian Mackay-Smith, Alexander Platt, Celeste Oliva, Craig Mathers, and Theresa Nguyen in Stage Kiss.
