Where Can I Go to Receive My Education?
There are schools, colleges, and universities throughout the USA and North
Carolina who have outstanding Veterans’ Programs. Many are listed at
Corpoint.org. In our newsletter we will highlight some of the local facilities or
areas of special interest. CORPOINT does not accept any compensation from
any agency we highlight nor should you consider the facilities listed as an
endorsement. They are included only as information. If you support Veteran’s

Educational Assistance for Veterans and/or
Dependents of Veterans
Most curriculum programs offered by the College are
approved for the training of veterans and their
dependents. Eligible veterans and/or their eligible
dependents who wish to pursue their education
should contact the Financial Aid Office for
application guidance and support.
Montreat College has been named a 2017 Military
Friendly® school by Victory Media. The ratings are
designed to provide service members and their
families with information they need to make decisions
about civilian careers and education opportunities.
Schools receive the Military Friendly® designation
according to how well they engage prospective
military students in a recruiting environment; educate
the military student once they are part of the school;
and if they meaningfully employ the student.

Make an appointment with your VA Certifying Official
to go over the Veterans Affairs Student Contract.
Disabled veterans attending under Vocational
Rehability must have the approval of a counselor at
the DVA before payment of benefits may be
authorized. All other required admissions
procedures (above) must be followed as well.
