WHO IS ANNIE SUNBEAM?<br />
<strong>Annie</strong> <strong>Sunbeam</strong> is an interplanetary being, with extraordinary<br />
powers and extraterrestrial technology. The heroic<br />
leader of the Solution to Pollution Crew (STP Crew)<br />
is an ageless being who travels to planet Earth in<br />
her bright Space Cab with advanced technology and<br />
submarine capabilities. She comes to Earth for a<br />
vacation and to connect with members of the STP<br />
crew throughout the planet. On her voyage, she<br />
learns of the extensive damage to the Earth<br />
and its natural resources. Her vacation<br />
turns into an investigation of a strange<br />
daze that is affecting humans and their<br />
uncaring treatment of their planet.<br />
<strong>Annie</strong> communicates with animals and<br />
humans. Her holographic SunnyBeam<br />
glasses and Space Cab have super<br />
powers and communication<br />
capabilities. They emit SunnyBeams,<br />
which temporarily breaks down<br />
the mind-controlling daze, which<br />
is affecting humans and how<br />
they are harming the environment,<br />
oceans, rivers and streams. They<br />
also connect her with her STP Crew.<br />
Protecting oceans, fish and all living creatures that<br />
live in them, is #14 of the 17 Sustainable Development<br />
Goals, or "SDGs." Join <strong>Annie</strong> <strong>Sunbeam</strong> and Friends on this<br />
important Mission to create awareness and change for<br />

GOAL 14: LIFE BELOW WATER<br />
Conserve and sustainably use the oceans and seas<br />
marine resources.<br />
To achieve Goal 14, the Countries have agreed to:<br />
• Reduce marine pollution by 2025, since much of the pollution comes<br />
from human activities on land.<br />
• Enact laws that prohibit illegal fishing, over fishing, and other<br />
destructive fishing practices.<br />
• Provide financial support to the poorest countries and small islands<br />
to protect and have better management of marine resources, thinking<br />
about the future.<br />
• Minimize and address the impacts of ocean acidification.<br />
• By 2030, increase the economic benefits to small island developing<br />
States and least developed countries from the sustainable use of<br />
marine resources, including through sustainable management of<br />
fisheries, aquaculture and tourism.
