IFU: Hypertension
Action: Angiotensin-converting
enzyme (ACE) inhibitors block the
conversion of angiotensin I to
the vasoconstrictor
angiotensin II.
Dosage: 2.5 mg, 5 mg
Route: P.O. & I.V.
Adverse Reaction: dizziness,
vertigo, cough, blurred vision,
confusion, sweating, unusual
sweating or tiredness,
dizziness/faintness or
lightheadedness when getting up
suddenly from a lying or sitting
position
Interactions: Excessive
hypotension may occur with
concurrent use of diuretics.
