Deltasone (Prednisone) PRED-ni-sone Classification: Corticosteroid IFU: Severe inflammation, immunosuppression Action: Decreases inflammation, mainly by stabilizing leukocyte lysosomal membranes; suppresses immune response; stimulates bone marrow; and influences protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism Dosage: 1 mg, 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 50 mg Route: P.O.
