Welcome to the 8th Annual Prescott Film Festival!
I truly think you are in for a treat this year! According to the PFF Movie Reviewer volunteers, you are
about to enjoy the strongest line-up of films in PFF history! As always, we are presenting a blend of
documentaries and narratives, a mixture of films designed to entertain, inspire, and inform.
In addition to our usual line-up of fabulous films, we have a Swing Dance with Live Music, 4 Sneak
Peek films, Free Workshops, a Gourmet Dinner from Senses Pop-up Dinners, 2 Art House Cinema
releases, Filmmaker Interviews, the Que Syrah Syrah Wine Tasting, 1 work-in-progress film with Special
Guest Daniel Roebuck (Lost, Man in the High Castle), and a Cabaret Party on closing night.
Based on your feedback, we have redesigned our schedule so that you don’t have to choose between
two or more good films-- and all of the films will be screened in the comfort and beauty of the Performing
Arts Center at Yavapai College.
With your continued patronage, we are well on our way to becoming Arizona’s favorite staycation!
Documentary Feature
Jerry Lewis could always make people
laugh but Lewis was more than just
a clown. He was a groundbreaking
filmmaker who wrote, produced and
directed many of his best films. Lewis
surpassed expectations as a comic
performer and emerged as a driving
force in Hollywood. However, American
critics and the cultural elite tended to
reject his abrasive art seeing Lewis as
little more than a clown, but others like
the French recognized him as a true
auteur. What is this inexplicable aversion
Americans have towards him? Who is the
