This is how we see things at the Pfister curtain service, which is why the
diverse world of Pfister curtains also offers much more than just window
dressing: alongside special fabrics and high-tech materials containing silk,
wool, hemp and even metal, the huge choice of curtain styles and tie-back
options will make your curtains a special feature of any room.
On request, our Swiss sewing studio will transform the fabrics into matching
wall coverings, bed headboards and throws, bedspreads, cushions or neck
rolls, seamlessly combining traditional craftsmanship with innovation.
Pfister also collaborates with renowned textile printers, some of which have
production facilities in Switzerland. On top of this come roller blinds, panel
curtains and outdoor solutions for gardens and balconies – all according to
your wishes and made to measure, of course. Talk to our interiors experts

Striking, colourful or simple – our
wide selection will be sure to include
the perfect curtains for your home.
And when it comes to making sure
their quality matches their visual
appeal, we subject all fabrics to an
extensive series of tests before adding
them to our range. This involves
examining how the curtains fall
when hung, how suitable they are
for various curtain styles and how
they respond to cleaning.
We also adapt our range to suit your
requirements and, in addition, offer
decorative elements such as bed
headboards, wall coverings, chair and
sofa covers as well as cushions.
Materials
We use a variety of materials – from
natural fibres such as linen, silk, wool,
cotton, alpaca, etc., through velvet,
satin and Trevira fabrics to metal
fabrics, burnout fabrics and machine
and hand embroidery.
Functionalities
In addition to the pleasant ambience
they help to create, our curtains also
offer a high degree of functionality –
including screening, improved acoustics,
shading and sun protection (UV
protection for furniture), for example.

The new Atelier Pfister curtain collection by Annette Douglas is a personal
statement for individual people wishing to surround themselves with premium,
expressive textiles. Annette Douglas lives and breathes textiles, design and
innovation. The curtain collection brings together tactile structures, interes t-
ing materials as well as colour combinations and subtle colour nuances, all
combined with fresh colour accents. The collection is based on three colour
schemes: silver, copper and brass. Modern design is being reinterpreted,
from floral to graphic. For Annette Douglas, the beauty of premium materials,
the sophistication and the subtle details of the design are all an expression
of high-quality living.

Annette Douglas has already designed
three curtain collections for
Atelier Pfister. She develops her
ideas with paper or fabric models,
needle and thread, paintbrush and
paint, creasing and folding. These
models serve as inspiration and form
the basis for industrial implementation
later on. Her collections are
the expression of a sophisticated,
modern and clear use of form. The
fabrics, which are manufactured
in Switzerland where possible, are
produced using high-quality materials
such as cotton and wool.
Annette Douglas, who has dual
British/Swiss citizenship, was born
in 1971 and is the third generation
of her family to be involved in the
textile industry. Her flair for colour
and form and her technical expertise
help to ensure that her ideas are
not only visually appealing, but also
suitable for production. Annette
Douglas strives to break the mould
with each and every design – even if
her creations appear to be harvested
effortlessly from her imagination.

Linear, geometric design with threedimensional
motifs, applied with
metal foil. Kilchberg comprises the
colours silver, copper and brass for
a distinctive effect, and is produced
at Mitloedi Textildruck AG in the
canton of Glarus.
The poetical composition of colour
with organic leaf shapes is digitally
printed. It can be printed on the
tightly woven Rümlang fabric or on
the light and airy Elsau fabric.
The graphic design is embroidered
onto the simple and sophisticated
Rümlang fabric.
The fabric with its Jacquard weave
combines a smooth and glossy
structure with a grainy matt one,
and is available in a range of
different colour combinations.

MANUFAKTUR 3174
SWISS-MADE
Each and every piece is a truly Swiss product – including the motifs.
The curtain specialists from the Berne region were inspired by
our Alpine mountain landscape for this exclusive fabric collection,
which meets the highest demands in terms of quality and design.
The Manufaktur 3174 collection comprises basics in neutral plain
colours and more striking pieces made of metal fabric or with appliqué.
Both the simple fabrics and the more sophisticated ones offer
attractive value for money.

MITLOEDI
3-D APPEAL WITH A TRADITION
Textile printers Mitloedi in the canton of Glarus have been supplying a
discerning clientele for many years now. The manufacturer, which was established
in 1937, has never produced anything under its own name – the most
you would have seen on the selvedge of these premium fabrics is “Made in
Switzerland”. Until now, that is. For Pfister, the printers from the canton of
Glarus have deve loped a curtain collection entitled “Mitloedi by Pfister”, with
classic designs printed using special techniques such as foil print on velvet,
sponge print on linen or shrink film print on cotton. These special printing
methods in combination with paint, foil or pigments not only make these
fabrics visually attractive through their unusual appearance, they also have
a special tactile appeal thanks to the 3-D touch added to the flat fabric.
This modern and luxurious curtain collection was developed by a four-strong
creative team.

AT HOME OUTDOORS
Transform your balcony, terrace or boat into an outdoor living room. Fabrics
produced with special yarns can be used outdoors, and are especially suitable
for curtains and cushions – both as a refreshing decorative element and
as a practical shade when the sun is low. We offer these fabrics together with
exclusive matching stainless and robust hanging systems.
The new outdoor solutions consist of five coordinated decorative fabrics for
outside areas in a classic and timeless design: Rimini, Nice-Stripe, Nice-Check,
Positano and Portofino are light- and colour-fast, weather-resistant, extremely
durable and easy-care.

EFFICIENT INSECT PROTECTION
Pfister’s insect protection systems keep the bugs out of your living space
once and for all. The ultra-thin but tough fibres of the fly screens allow the
light and air in, while the stable aluminium profiles are integrated almost
invisibly into the facade. Pfister’s insect protection systems are developed
and manufactured in Switzerland. Guided by a thirst for innovation and by
high Swiss quality standards, we create products that offer you an exclusive
living experience without a single pesky bug in sight.
Retractable window
screens
Flexible insect protection for every
window. Whenever the fly screen
is not in use, send it back up into its
casing with just a flick of the wrist.
Fixed screens
The ideal solution for plastic windows:
the fixed screens are simply inserted
into the window frame from the inside
and are easy to fix thanks to their
patented snap-in assembly.
Uno retractable door
screens
Uno retractable door screens are operated
from the side, making them easy to open
and close. Whenever the fly screen is not in
use, it can be retracted into its casing in a
matter of moments.
Pleated door screens
These fly screens do not roll up, but fold
together like an accordion. The pleated
screen is easy to operate and takes up
little space.

A wide range of textures and colours: Blackout fabrics are used for typical night
curtains. Air-purifying fabrics reduce pollutants and odours. Antibacterial
fabrics keep germs in check. Acoustic fabrics provide a high level of sound
absorption. Fire-retardant fabrics feature permanently low flammability.

visit at home – free of charge and with no obligation. With samples of our
entire range of fabrics.

measurements, they will round off their visit by providing you with a

The Pfister curtain service is tailored precisely to suit your requirements.
You can sew your curtains yourself at home after choosing your favourite
fabric with us and – on request – having it cut to the lengths you need,
or, alterna tively, you can use our sewing service, measuring your windows
yourself and giving us the dimensions before choosing the fabrics at
your local Pfister branch. Your curtains will be prepared, ready to hang,
by the Pfister curtain service in no time at all, and will be ready to collect
from the Pfister branch near you.

PROFESSIONAL ASSEMBLY
The men and women in our assembly team are specially trained craftspeople
who have the right tool for every situation and will make sure your curtains
hang perfectly. Once hung, the curtains will then be steamed again if necessary,
before the surrounding area is cleaned.

WASHING AND CLEANING
At your request, we can wash the fabrics before processing, saving you
any unpleasant surprises when you wash your curtains for the first time.
Our specialists will also be happy to clean and service your existing curtain
systems, roller blinds, pleated screens and slats in a careful and professional
manner. In addition to traditional dry-cleaning, we also offer our environmentally
friendly wet-clean process for curtains.
