Unable <strong>to</strong> connect <strong>Mac</strong>Book with the printer? Facing troubles while setting up? Don't worry! There are<br />

two methods with the help <strong>of</strong> which you can establish a connection between <strong>Mac</strong> pro and device.<br />

Choose the mode according <strong>to</strong> your suitability.<br />

Method 1- With the help <strong>of</strong> USB Cable<br />

a. Power On the printer by pressing the Power but<strong>to</strong>n.<br />

Depending upon the model, location <strong>of</strong> power but<strong>to</strong>n differs. Refer <strong>to</strong> user's manual in case if<br />

you are not sure.<br />

e. Check the Printing Sheet while printing or go through Print & Fax Preferences <strong>to</strong> find out whether<br />

the device is ready <strong>to</strong> print or not.<br />

f. Select Add <strong>Printer</strong> if you are unable <strong>to</strong> find your device name appearing on Printing Sheet.


Method 2- <strong>Connecting</strong> with the Wi-Fi<br />

a. You can save space as well as minimize the issues in cable connections while connecting with local<br />

Wi-Fi .<br />

b. In order <strong>to</strong> avoid fraudulent and exploitation with the network, there are certain restrictions<br />

imposed without which the safety can be jeopardized. So, ensure that you have cleared access<br />

restrictions <strong>of</strong> Wi-Fi printer like <strong>Mac</strong> address filtering.<br />

c. Just check your device is displayed in the pop-up menu. If yes, select it and print. In case, if it<br />

doesn't choose Add <strong>Printer</strong> and you will see Setup Utility. You will find a list <strong>of</strong> devices. Click Add after<br />

selecting your device.<br />
