Oman Pumps Mfg. & Engineering Services Co. SAOC, the flagship company of Al-Riyami Group
is promoted by Dr. Hamed Abdullah Al-Riyami. With his dynamism and far reaching vision,
he realized that a local facility for manufacturing, supply and servicing of pumps would be a
dominant factor in the technology backed water utilization system. This was translated into
reality through the establishment of Omanpumps at the Rusayl Industrial Estate, commencing
production in October 1988, in collaboration with Grundfos International, Denmark, the world
leader in pump technology.
Mr. Basim Hamed Abdullah Al-Riyami after graduating in Business Management from the United
States of America, joined the Group in September 1998 as Executive Director. He is a successful
Industrialist and a businessman with entrepreneurial zest, who has prepared the organization
for the new challenges of this millennium. He is also on the Board of many organizations like
M/S. Oman Water Treatment (Oman), Creative Stone LLC (Sharjah), Al Farabi Pharmacy (Oman),
Fluid Engineering & Services Co. LLC (Oman), Promech Technical Services LLC (Dubai), etc..
From humble origins and amidst heavy international competition, OMANPUMPS has come
of age through professional management, qualified & skilled work force, reliable and
state-of-the-art technology products, and strong partnerships. Today, the product range covers

The factory at Rusayl offers modern facilities for manufacture, assembly
fabrication & testing of Pumps and Pumping system. All pumps
manufactured are tested for their hydraulic and electrical parameters
as per I S O 9906 at the test bed in the factory at Rusayl. Pumps up
to 1000m3/hr can be tested locally at Rusayl. The factory is equipped
with trained technical personnel and necessary plant & machinery to
produce quality products and also render excellent service. Stock of
full units and parts are adequately maintained to provide prompt after
sales service.
BOOSTER PUMP SET TEST BED
The company’s ability to provide concept to commissioning service to
the customer has yielded rich dividends in terms of customer support.
