2017 <strong>Art</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> on the Square
JURY PANEL
BRIGITTE BOUCHER is an artist and writer interested
in personal identity, self-expression, natural history, and the
environment. After growing up throughout the Great Lakes region,
she attended Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, where she
received a BA in studio art and English. She currently works as a
copywriter for online art retailer <strong>Art</strong>ful Home. She is involved with
Atwood Atelier art studio and shows her pastel work locally. She
lives in Stoughton, WI with her husband and stepdaughter, where
she also enjoys gardening, kayaking, and playing the mandolin. Find

DENIS DALE is a serigraphic printmaker, photographer and
digital artist who has exhibited widely since the 1970’s. Dale’s
artistic career extended from fine art printmaking to an MFA
degree in new media arts from the University of Wisconsin-
Madison. Greatly expanding his work as an artist, photographer
and graphic designer, he then served as a digital arts educator for
27 years at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is now an
Emeritus Faculty. At Whitewater, Dale blended artistic ideation and
production practices with targeted contemporary applied design
studies through research and the development of new courses of
study. He has held private art director positions in the advertising
industry, served as senior artist and illustrator for public creative
agencies, and now enjoys working independently as an artist.
KAY RASHKA is a scientist by day at a Wisconsin-based biotech
company and a silversmith and jewelry art metals instructor by
night. She teaches jewelry project workshops throughout the state
and recently authored an introductory jewelry metals technique
book. Always one to keep busy, Rashka can be found in her studio
or gardens trying to keep with her mantra to create something
daily. Kay’s jewelry is available at the Madison Museum of
Contemporary <strong>Art</strong> Museum store.
ANN RUTECKI is an oil painter living in Madison, Wisconsin.
Ann cannot remember a time in her life when she was not drawing,
painting, sculpting or working with clay. In college, she fit art classes
into her nursing school curriculum. She has continued her art
education with classes at MATC and Edgewood as well as private
workshops in the area. Rutecki’s paintings have been featured in
the cultural arts calendar of Dane county. She is encouraged and
supported in her art by her husband, Paul, and their three daughters.
