Good Job, <strong>MES</strong> Campus Journalists<br />

<strong>MES</strong> young journalists had put forth their best when<br />
they received their medals and certificates during the awarding<br />
ceremony of the Division Schools Press Conference and Contest<br />
(DSPCC) held at Malabon National High School on August<br />
6, <strong>2016</strong>.<br />
The weeks of reviews and trainings resulted to a successful<br />
outcome.<br />

October 5 is World Teachers’ Day as proclaimed<br />
by the Unted Nations Education, Scientific<br />
and Cultural Orgnization (UNESCO) in 1994. On this<br />
day the world is called to celebrate the significant role<br />
of teachers in providing quality education at all levels.<br />
In Malabon City, Hon. Mayor Antolin A. Oreta<br />
III saluted all Malabon teachers from elementary<br />
and secondary schools during the World Teachers’<br />
Day held at Oreta Sports Complex on October 4,<br />
<strong>2016</strong>.<br />
He recognized teachers who had received exemplary<br />
awards at the division, regional and national<br />
level from different disciplines.<br />
One of the awardees is Mrs. Haidee Pandoy of<br />
Malabon National High School. Mrs. Pandoy, who is<br />
the <strong>MES</strong> benefactor in its tree planting activity is a<br />
National Awardee for her advocacy campaign in taking<br />
care of the environment.<br />
Hon. Mayor Len Len Oreta emphasized the<br />
role of teachers in molding the young minds especially<br />
the young Malabonians. He believes that quality edu-<br />
cation is the key to have a better life that’s why he never<br />
stops giving support to all teachers by providing them<br />
series of teacher trainings and seminars. It is part of his<br />
comprehensive program for providing quality education.<br />
