DIAKONIA - DRAE<br />
The DIAKONIA World Federation was founded <strong>in</strong> 1947 as a sign of reconciliation follow<strong>in</strong>g<br />
the experiences of the Second World War. The Kaiserswerther Association is a member of<br />
this <strong>in</strong>ternational network of diaconic communities and diaconal organizations.<br />
Today, DRAE br<strong>in</strong>gs together diaconal groups from 20 countries from Africa and Europe,<br />
represent<strong>in</strong>g more than 16,000 people engaged <strong>in</strong> the Gospel proclamation.<br />
The World Alliance is divided <strong>in</strong>to three regions: DIAKONIA of the Americas and the<br />
Caribbean (DOTAC), DIAKONIA region Africa-Europe (DRAE) and DIAKONIA Asia Pacific<br />
(DAP). The Kaiserswerther Verband is a member of DRAE
DIAKONIA - DRAE<br />
Der DIAKONIA Weltbund wurde 1947 als e<strong>in</strong> Zeichen der Versöhnung nach den Erfahrungen<br />
des Zweiten Weltkrieges gegründet. Der Kaiserswerther Verband ist Mitglied <strong>in</strong> diesem<br />
<strong>in</strong>ternationalen Netzwerk von diakonischen Geme<strong>in</strong>schaften und diakonischen<br />
Organisationen.<br />
Heute br<strong>in</strong>gt DRAE diakonische Gruppen aus 20 Ländern aus Afrika und Europa zusammen<br />
und repräsentiert über 16.000 Menschen, die sich <strong>in</strong> der Verkündigung des Evangeliums<br />
engagieren.<br />
Der Weltbund ist <strong>in</strong> drei Regionen aufgeteilt: DIAKONIA der Amerikas und der Karibik<br />
(DOTAC), DIAKONIA Region Afrika-Europa (DRAE) und DIAKONIA Asien-Pazifik (DAP).<br />
