Electronic louver-blind/shutter control easy Order No.: 0841 .. 

Function 

The Electronic louver-blind/shutter control easy is a component of the louver-blind/shutter control 

system and is installed together with a louverblind/shutter control insert in a mounting box in acc. with 

DIN 49073 (deep box recommended). The device permits pre-programmed and time-controlled 

switching of louver-blind/shutter motors with a maximum rating of 1000 W. The motor must be 

equipped with limit switches.

Safety instructions 

Attention: Electrical equipment must be installed and fitted by qualified electricians only. 

Further important information is set out in the “Louver-blind/shutter control insert“ operating 

instructions. 

Installation 

Electronic louver-blind/shutter control easy is plugged onto a louver-blind/shutter control insert (Art no. 

0399 00 or 0398 00). 

After about 30 minutes, the storage capacitor for the running reserve is completely charged.

When the storage capacitor is charged, the control module 

can be removed from the insert for easier programming and 

then be programmed independent of the insert for about 6 

hours. 

Important: Before programming for the first time, the device 

must be reset to the factory settings: 

Resetting: Depress the AUTO/MAN and PROG keys at 

the same time until the display is blank.

The factory-programmed switching times are active:

Switching time 4: 20:00, Sa-So. 

Programming mode: 

To put the electronic louver-blind/shutter control into operation 

enter the actual data and then, if desired, the switching times: 

Keep the PROG key depressed until PROG is displayed. 

The and keys are used to change the blinking set of figures. 

After entering the new data, depress the PROG key to store 

the new setting and enter the next values. 

Programming details see figure A overleaf. 

� If no key is depressed during programming for more than 

2 minutes, the electronic louver-blind/shutter control 

switches over automatically to displaying the actual data.

Fast programming

The actual time of day can be taken 

over at any time into memory as block 

switching time by depressing the 

desired running direction ( or ) and 

subsequent depressing of the PROG 

key, overwriting the previous setting of 

the block. 

Example: 

1. Depress the key and hold. The 

old programmed time is being 

displayed. 

2. Depress the PROG key and hold 

until the display is blank. 

The switching time is programmed. 




Mode change 

Depress the AUTO/MAN key for one second. 

The control changes between manual operation (MAN displayed) and time-controlled automatic 

operation (AUTO displayed). Manual operation is possible at any time also in the automatic mode 

(AUTO): 

General operating instructions 

- Short depression of key (less than 1 sec.): inching operation for louver adjustment with blinds. 

- Long depression of key (more than 1 sec.): 2-minute long continuous run; can be stopped with the 

or key. 

- To quit the programming mode: Keep the PROG key depressed for more than 2 

seconds. 

- To erase switching times: Select the switching time, set to 00:00 and store by 

depressing the PROG key. The switching time is then 

not executed. 

� This means that the execution of switching commands at time 00:00h is generally not 

possible. 

- In the event of manual operation in the automatic mode, the display shows for about 4 seconds the 

UP and DOWN times programmed for this day.
