How long have you been a chef<br />
and how did you get started?<br />
Originally I wanted to be a nurse and went to Shrewsbury<br />
College on a pre-nursing course but when I lost my father to<br />
Leukemia, I had a complete change of heart and I’ve now been<br />
in the kitchen for over 30 years! I started as a trainee chef working<br />
under the guidance of Paul Clarkson at the Park House Hotel in<br />
Shifnal before relocating to Southampton for a couple of years.<br />
I crossed paths again with Paul when he was Executive Head<br />
Chef at Madeley Court and I was his Head Chef. I was there for<br />
seven years before stints in Gloucestershire, Kidderminster and<br />
Derby and then heading up the team here at Buckatree where<br />
I’ve been since <strong>20</strong>04.<br />
