Access
and Guest
Cards
All members are required to produce
their membership card to be scanned
upon entry to the Royal Melbourne
Show. Whenever exiting Melbourne
Showgrounds your membership card
must be scanned if you wish to re-enter
on the same day.
Members will need to show their membership
card in order to access members’ areas.
Members will also need to accompany guests
(without a guest card) if they wish to bring
them into members’ areas.
Full members are reminded that they have the
option to purchase two additional guest cards.
Guest cards are $85 each and allow entrance
to every day of the Royal Melbourne Show. If
you would like to purchase a guest card please
visit the RASV website at www.rasv.com.au or
phone 03 9281 7444.
Please ensure your RASV membership card is signed
prior to arrival at the 2017 Royal Melbourne Show.

RASV members and their guests can
enjoy an à la carte lunch and dinner in the
Members’ Restaurant & Bar during the
2017 Royal Melbourne Show.
The RASV Members’ Bar provides an area for members and their
guests to relax and enjoy with bar facilities, tea/coffee and light
snacks available at great member rates.
With catering by the RACV City Club, the menu for RASV
members and guests has been designed by Club Executive Sous
Chef, Grant Flack.
The Members’ Restaurant & Bar will be open for light
refreshments from 10am to 5pm, à la carte lunch from
11.30am–3pm and à la carte dinner from 5pm-9pm daily.
The Members’ Restaurant & Bar is located in the Royal Block.
Bookings for lunch and dinner are recommended, please call

a ringside location in The Weekly Times Livestock Pavilion.

Parking for Members
Parking is available for RASV members at Flemington Racecourse
at the special member rate of $10, saving $15 on the regular rate
for parking.
Enter via the VRC Members’ Drive gate from Epsom Road.
Please note that members’ rates for parking are only available
to members, not guest card holders. The Epsom Road Car Park is
open from 7.00am – 11.00pm and the Smithfield Road Car Park
entrance is open from 8.30am – 11.00pm.
To receive the member car park rate your member car park pass
must be fixed on the inside of the front car window, in the bottom
right hand corner and your membership card must be presented to
the gate attendant at the time of entry into the car park.
Reserved seating at the Herald Sun Arena
There will be seating available exclusively to RASV members
and their guests at the Herald Sun Arena for the evening
entertainment. The allocated seating is located adjacent to the
Arena Bar. Evening entertainment begins at 7.15pm each night
during the Royal Melbourne Show. For entry to this area your
membership card must be shown. Seating is subject to availability
Priority access to the Showbag Pavilion
Members and their guests enjoy priority access to the Showbag
Pavilion on each day of the Royal Melbourne Show between
11:00am and 2:00pm. During these specified times there will be a
signed entry point for RASV members at the main entrance of the
pavilion. Your membership card will need to be presented in order
to gain priority access.
Priority access to the Jayco Animal Nursery
Members enjoy priority access to the Jayco Animal Nursery
between 11.00am and 2.00pm on each day of the Show.
Members and their guests can enter at the signed entry point
at the main entrance. Your membership card will need to be
presented in order to gain priority access.
Complimentary Locker Hire
Access to complimentary locker hire is available to RASV
members, subject to availability. Members must present their
membership card at the lockers located in the underpass next to
The Weekly Times Livestock Pavilion. Charges apply to lockers in
other locations.

Hi-5
Join the fresh new faces of Hi-5 at the Royal Melbourne Show
these September School Holidays! Joe, Shay, Bailey, Lachie and
Courtney have been wowing TV audiences since appearing on
the new Hi-5 series on the Nine Network’s Go! Kids channel. They
will be singing and dancing in their playful Hi-5 show celebrating
all their favourite things! With games and popular Hi-5 songs,
including new hit Hi-5 Dance Off, you’ll be feeling the L.O.V.E love,
too! You can also give the gang a “Hi-5” in person with photo
meet and greets after each show!

Legendairy Milking Barn
Ever wondered how milk gets from the cows in the paddock to
the carton in your fridge? See first-hand, the first step in dairy
production by hand milking a cow - a popular and fun activity,
only at the Royal Melbourne Show. Learn about the dairy
industry and how butter and cream are made at the Legendairy
Milking Barn within The Farmhouse, then have a go at milking a
real live cow.

Sway Pole Stunt Show
You will be on the edge of your seat watching these daredevil
performers swing from sway poles 18 metres above the ground

The Freestyle
Motocross Stunt Show
Come and see the magic of extreme riders perform high-octane,
gravity-defying daredevil stunts when Australia’s best Freestyle
Motocross team jumps and revs their way around Herald Sun
Arena. Watch in disbelief as the team performs tricks like the Holy
Grab, the Cliffhanger and the spectacular aerial backflip as part of
their most exciting and incredible performance yet!

Nightly Fireworks Spectacular
What better way to complete your ultimate day at the Show
than with the mesmerising Royal Melbourne Show fireworks
display. Watch as the multi-coloured fireworks light up the
evening sky choreographed by international gold-medalwinning
fireworks producers, to some of your favourite top
40 hits. Weather permitting.

The Grand Cattle Parade
A traditional favourite, The Grand Cattle Parade returns to the
Royal Melbourne Show. Watch this amazing spectacular as the
arena is filled with up to 150 cattle of different breeds and sizes
at night under lights. A Show tradition not to be missed, the
parade is visually spectacular, as the animals march around Herald
Sun Arena!

Comic Daredevil Bello Nock
Bello Nock is a daredevil and one of the most amazing and
exciting live entertainers in the world today! Watch as he
performs some incredible and hilarious stunts such as trampoline
tricks and bow and arrow pops!

Tractor Pull
Watch in awe as Australia’s strongest challenge themselves to
beat their best time pulling a huge, heavy tractor! Using just a
rope and harness, Australia’s strongest will pull a tractor across
a 20 metre course. Each evening of the Show from 7:00pm on
Herald Sun Arena.
