Entry requirements<br />
You should have a minimum of 1 A Level or<br />
equivalent, plus three GCSE passes at grade C<br />
or above, including English <strong>and</strong> maths, plus a<br />
portfolio of art.<br />
Overview<br />
This course will build your confidence <strong>and</strong><br />
develop your skills in art <strong>and</strong> design to prepare<br />
you for university.<br />
As well as having an opportunity to work across<br />
a range of different art-based principles <strong>and</strong><br />
develop your technical <strong>and</strong> digital skills, you’ll<br />
also be able to review specialist art streams/<br />
subjects <strong>and</strong> get guidance to inform decisions<br />
about future career goals or HE learning<br />
programmes.<br />
We will support you to find your ‘creative voice’,<br />
help boost your existing skills <strong>and</strong> portfolio<br />
to degree st<strong>and</strong>ard <strong>and</strong> introduce a range<br />
of practices, from critical thinking techniques<br />
to exploration of a variety of pathways <strong>and</strong><br />
preparation for HE application.<br />
