OCTOBER 2017
We head into one of my favourite months
of the year October, and although I love it
when the clocks go back (and that extra hour
in bed), I also enjoy celebrating Bounce’s
Birthday and with this edition we turn five!
We’ve had yet another very busy month,
starting off in Essex with a visit to The Pier in
Harwich. Over looking the working harbour
and serving the freshest sea food, read our
review in the food and drink section. We
also had time to jump on board the Harwich
Harbour Ferry during our stay so you can read
all about our trip to Felixstowe on pages 78
and 79.
This month, we had the pleasure of
interviewing TV & Radio presenter Jonny
Nelson. All set for his new show ‘Saturday
Morning Mash-Up!’ we speak to Jonny about
how he got into presenting, as well as finding
out more about the new show.
Another favourite event of our year is the
Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival, which took
place at Snape Maltings during September. We
popped along to see the finest food and drink
champions in action, read about our visit on
pages 46 and 47.
If that wasn’t enough, my personal highlight
of the month was meeting former Noah and
the Whale frontman, Charlie Fink. We were
delighted to be invited along to review his new
show ‘Cover My Tracks’ which you can read on
pages 118 and 119 in the music section.
Don’t miss our competition, Halloween advice
and recipes and regular columns.
