“The real thing is not a path. The real thing is the authenticity of
the seeker. Let me emphasize this. You can travel on any path, and if
you are sincere and authentic, you will reach your destination. Some
paths may be difficult, some may be more comfortable, some may have
greenery on all sides, and some may have you moving through deserts,
and yet if you are sincere and honest with the yearnings of your Soul –
if you are authentic to the urgings of your conscience – if you are true
to the summons of your True Self, then every path will lead you to your
goal. So it simply can be reduced to one thing: that authenticity of
Soul-Self is the path. And thus the opposite is also true: that no matter
what path you choose, if you do not authentically reflect your Soul-Self,
then you will not get anywhere. It is your authenticity and your
authenticity alone that brings you back home, nothing else matters.
