Dennis Morgan In 2010, Dennis joined his sons who were running a painting and cleaning company. Indicated by his email address papa@krystalklean. com, Dennis has always seen his primary role as that of a father. He has reached out throughout his 40-plus working years wanting to be a “father to the fatherless” and is recognized by dozens of men and women as their mentor and role model. He brings his “others-centered” focus to the work place on a daily basis and strives to help other people in any way he can. He continues to help mentor and motivate people of all ages. He is seen as a connector and although he can stand a little close when he talks to you, is a genuine inspiration to those he works with and for in the manufacturing industries. One of his tools of choice is the harmonica, and he also plays a mean trumpet. MEDTRONIC The Medtronic Restorative Therapies Group business develops products and procedural solutions for neurosurgery, spinal and orthopedic surgery, as well as ENT. This includes solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, and throat; surgical devices and implantable products for the treatment of cranial, spinal and specialty small-bone conditions; and advanced navigation and imaging solutions used in operating rooms. Equipment Support Team Over the course of FY17, the Equipment Support department of Medtronic endured many challenges while being able to maintain business continuity and far exceeded the scope of work expected of them. They have truly set the bar in the maintenance industry for teamwork, dedication, craftsmanship and steadfast determination. MORAN ENVIRONMENTAL RECOVERY (MER) MER provides specialized services to clients within the specific energy and industrial, marine, railroad and government sectors throughout the U.S. The company is a nationally recognized Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO), and our Preparedness and Response Team works directly with federal, state, local and private spill managers to pre-plan for and, if necessary, respond to significant environmental events. Together, the MER “family of companies” is a collection of unique businesses, each with its own expertise and reputation, all integrated to deliver our culture of safety and understanding to the service of our clients. Eric Czechowski Eric joined the MER Team in January of 2016 as an Environmental Technician. Eric utilized MER’s CDL Training Program to obtain his CDL Class A License. In a short time, Eric was promoted to Supervisor because of his persistence, attention to detail and overall focus on our client’s needs. Eric is a role model to his fellow employees and is a good example of how hard work will reward and elevate your career. WRI is permitted by JEA as a Centralized Wastewater Treatment Facility, with the capablity to manage the transportation and disposal of non-hazardous wastewater from a wide array of customers. WRI operates a Waste to Energy division, and is permitted by FDEP as a Used Oil Recycling plant. Phillip Cooner Phillip has been with WRI since 2011. He continually demonstartes outstanding dedication in support of regulatory compliance, exceptional customer service, safety and productivity goals of WRI. Phillip maintains a positive attitude and always makes the extra effort to assist his teammates. Phillip often works long hours and even weekends when needed without complaint. He has an “anything to get the job done” attitude. Phillip’s enthusiastic dedication to WRI’s core values of Safety & Teamwork is a true inspiration to our team. Nicole Neumann Nicole began her career in 2015 with WRI as a laboratory technician. Her teammates immediately noticed that she was a very motivated high performer. She learned very quickly and is now responsible for the operation of the lab. Nicole accepted a rapid increase in her responsibilities and has a very challenging and fast-paced environment. She has demonstarted significant professional growth and her sustained “cando” attitude and dedication inspires and motivates her co-workers. PINE CASTLE, INC. Pine Castle is a nonprofit organization serving over 300 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, annually providing work skills training, hands-on experience, social activities and life skills coaching. Our programs are dedicated to creating opportunities for productive, fulfilling lives for participants, helping them to achieve their greatest level of individual potential and independence. Mustang IAE Line Over the past 12 months, the IAE Line has shown a continuous commitment to meeting a milestone of passing the First Article Testing (FAT) to be able to acquire a contract to produce Integrated Aircrew Ensemble (IAE) for the Air Force. The entire team has worked intensely hard through difficult tasks and high-pressure situations, which has allowed us to enter the production phase on this contract. This team sacrificed their personal time and worked excessive hours without a single complaint to meet deadline after deadline with excellent results. Even with all the changes to the job atmosphere, the team has shown a level of dedication above and beyond the scope of their job and the prime contractor’s expectations. Elisha Miller Elisha Miller stepped right into the Supervisor role with no team lead and very little help. Through this transition period, he has maintained a positive attitude and has not let the demands of the job affect his leading ability. He has not taken a complete day off since accepting this position and embraces all of the challenges that come along with it. Dale Milner Dale Milner assembles and oversees the assembly of all tactical armor vests at the Jacksonville plant. His years of assembly experience makes him an invaluable member of our department. He pays close attention to every detail as he inspects the carriers to make sure they are made correctly and fit perfectly with the ballistic panels. He reviews each sales order to ensure all the correct ballistic accessories are listed on the sales order and the customer receives exactly what they ordered. Sujaily Ortiz Sujaily took over the planning role with short notice and embraced all of its challenges. The planning department lost several associates and Sujaily picked up their tasks to keep the business moving all while working long hours and weekends to keep up. She is always willing to help others and maintains a positive attitude. TIMES-UNION MEDIA GateHouse Media publishes The Florida Times-Union and St. Augustine Record, seven-day, morning newspapers, and has been a member of FCMA member since 1991. These daily publications coupled with the reach of their online products, jacksonville.com and staugustine.com, are the area’s number one source for Jacksonville news, sports, entertainment, real estate, job listings, photos and video. The Times- Union recently upgraded both its editorial system and ad pagination workflow. Converting just one system would have been a large undertaking, but handling both was almost impossible.
