Application Form for 2017 Zime Miss High
Schools (KwaZulu-Natal Auditions)
We welcome all those between the ages of 15 - 20 to take part in an opportunity of a
lifetime to be the first Zime Miss High Schools.
This is an auditions’ application form which consist of 4 pages.
Requirements
Aged between 15 – 20 female.
Be in high and secondary school.
All parts of the application must be submitted before the deadline date.
Shall be of good positive character; possess charm, poise, and personality.
Able to speak at least two and more African official languages.
Must be a good exemplar to her school and the community as a whole.
Shall be an excellent representative and role model of KZN schools and society.
Rules and Guidelines
1. The participant must agree to abide by all the rules and regulations set by the Zime Miss
High Schools’ Organising Team Committee.
2. All participants must never be married or engaged.
3. Must the South African and residing in KwaZulu-Natal province, schooling in high and
secondary school with the age between 15 to 20 only.
4. The applications opens on the 23 October 2017 and deadline of entries will be 05 November
2017, 18h30 be advised that no late application will be considered.
5. Please notify the ZMHS Organising Team Committee if you plan to withdraw from the
competition before the 02 December 2017, 18h00.
6. Understand that the amount of money you have paid will be forfeited completely and will not
be refunded for any reason. Any payment you’ve made cannot be transferred to any other
contestant.
7. All competitors must be prepared to answer questions.
8. Make sure to bring the proper attire needed for the ZMHS event. i.e. your initial outfit
(casual outfit), your formal wear outfit, swim wear.
9. Your SA’s ID or Birth certificate copy, latest report from your school and two copies of
your photos must be attached to the application form; one full length photo and one
headshot (must be you alone in the picture and shall be a clear image).
10. Bring your own jewelry, make-up, costumes, etc.

11. In order to participate, you must attend all the MANDATORY dress rehearsal prior to
the actual pageant show.
12. Any incorrect information will result in disqualification whether discovered prior to, during,
or after the ZMHS finals.
13. Participants must be ready and must report to the designated location at the stipulated
time.
14. Late comers will not be accepted. ** NO EXCEPTIONS ** (i.e. people who submit application
form late and people who come late on actual pageant day).
15. Participants or parents are not allowed to discuss or approach judges at any time.
16. Applicant must be a naturally born female in order to compete in the ZMHS as it a female
beauty pageant includes fashion of course.
17. Applicant must be currently living within the KwaZulu-Natal province in order to compete in
the ZMHS beauty pageant show.
18. Applicant must understands that the auditions are FREE as APPLICATION FEE in the
amount of R100.00 must be paid after the applicant has been selected as Top 15
ZMHS Finalists and note that the APPLICATION FEE is NON-REFUNDABLE.
19. If the Applicant becomes a ZMHS title winner, she must understands that the cash prize
will be transferred into her account within the 7 days after the ZMHS fashion and beauty
pageant show.
20. Applicant must not have any visible tattoos.
21. Applicant must understands that the judges' decisions and scoring are final and will not
be changed.
22. The names of the ZMHS fashion and beauty pageant show judges will NOT be
released.
The application fee must be physically paid directly to the ZMHS Organising Team
Committee treasure for now before the 16 November 2017 and there is a receipt
which will be issued to the applicant as proof of payment which must be kept.

PRIZES
The 1st Place winner of 2017 ZMHS will receive R3000.00 in cash, voucher, SAAT
Expo presenter contract, a free contract of modelling agency benefits and education
financial support system package.
The 2nd Place runner-up will receive R2000.00 in cash, voucher, a free contract of
modelling agency benefits and education financial support system package.
The 3rd Place runner-up will receive R1000.00 in cash, voucher and education financial
support system package.

Venue: Bayside Hotel, Conference Centre, West Street, Durban.
Date: 11 November 2017, Saturday
Time: 10h00 am
Dress Code: White or black top, blue | black skinny jeans and heels (no torn jeans, No wedge heels)

I hereby agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the pageant committee. I will accept the
decision of the judges as final and binding, and I understand that such decisions are not questionable. I
