1. AWAY FROM IT ALL! 

1. Once upon a time, there were two brothers 1 . They 

were identical 2 twins 3 . Their names were Ken and Ben. 

In their childhood 4 they lived in a forest 5 , far away from 

the civilised world. Their parents 6 , Steve and Emily, 

worked hard 7 to bring them up 8 : they cut down 9 trees in

2. LIVING IN THE CITY 

PART 1 

1. Ben and Ken are now 55 years old. They have been 

living in Houston, Texas for 45 years. Until the age of 10 

they lived with their parents in a beautiful forest 1 where 

they didn’t meet 2 other people. They had a wonderful 3 , 

natural life; they knew 4 more about nature 5 , plants 6 and
