We would like to invite you to relaxed and informal evening at
Manchester Art Gallery where you will be served drinks and delicious
canapes in the sumptuous setting of the Victorian Galleries.

The Victorian Galleries at Manchester Art Gallery, Mosley
Street, Manchester M2 3JL

The galleries are home to the world-famous Pre-Raphaelite paintings,
and the collection also includes British and European art from the 17th
century right up to the present day.
At this exclusive Manchester Law Society event the canapés will be
created by Mary-Ellen McTague, recently appointed as the galleries
executive chef.
Mary-Ellen is best known for her restaurant, Aumbry, as well as
working in Michelin-starred kitchens.
From 30th September the Gallery will be opening their exciting new
South Asia exhibition #NewNorthSouth. You will have the opportunity
on the evening to see some of the extraordinary art and immersive
films created by artists and performers from South Asia and Britain.

offers a number of exciting opportunities for schools and businesses to work collaboratively,
to improve the quality of careers guidance in schools, ensuring young people are inspired

and equipped with the skills needed
to be successful in the workplace.

This is achieved through the recruitment of passionate Enterprise Advisers (EA); senior business

helping to address the key barriers young people face when transitioning
from education to the world of work.

Essentially, we are looking for Enterprise Advisers who have experience of strategic planning
and are confident enough to support and challenge a schools senior management to
drive careers education

Manchester Law Society invites you to explore both sides of the argument at our Annual
Family Law Debate, kindly hosted by Deans Court Chambers and chaired by His
Honour Judge Allweiss.
Mike Devlin of Stephensons Solicitors and Katie McCann of Kuits Solicitors represent
the case for the father. James Brown of Hall Brown Family Law and Karen Brody of
Deans Court Chambers represent the mother’s case.
There will be an opportunity for networking with drinks and nibbles before and after
