progress reports each year and you can
meet our tutors for an update.
We take pride in supporting young people
from the time they come to Shipley
College, to their next step in to work
or further study:
• Student Services and Personal Tutors/
Learning Coaches give help and advice
regarding their course, college life or
personal worries.
• All full-time students and apprentices
also develop vital English, maths and
employability skills.
• Careers Advisors help students find
courses and employment to achieve
their ambitions.
• Clubs, societies and activities help
our students develop existing or new
interests and make friends.

ADULT LEARNERS (19+)

options. There are a range of choices
available, including apprenticeships and
traineeships, so come and talk to us.
Due to government funding, there are
limited places for learners aged 19 and
over on full-time courses. For part-time
