<strong>GW</strong> NURSING NIGHT AT<br />

THE BALLPARK<br />

The tickets sold out fast when faculty, students and staff signed up to see the<br />

Washington Nationals play the Atlanta Braves June 13 in Nationals Park. One hundred<br />

members of the <strong>GW</strong> <strong>Nursing</strong> family attended, and the Nationals, the top-ranked<br />

team in the National League East, won 10-5.<br />

Dr. Acquaviva received the LGBT<br />

Health Professional Leadership Award<br />

from Building the Next Generation of<br />

Academic Physicians in recognition of<br />

her efforts to promote the development<br />

of a health workforce responsive to the<br />

needs of LGBTQ communities.<br />
