If you need an excuse to entertain clients then December certainly makes it easier!

As we march towards Christmas and the New Year, it’s the perfect time to say thank

you. An excellent dining experience where the menu is memorable, the service is

superb and the setting is impressive paints the perfect scene for a look back on the

year’s business and a look forward to the opportunities 2018 may bring.

For a London dinner date, one of our current

favourites is Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt

Hotel in Kensington. The Grade II listed building

was originally a row of ten townhouses built

by the Vanderblit family for some of Europe’s

wealthiest families. The Vanderblits made their

money in America, from shipping and railways

and at one time, they were the richest people

in the world!

Arrive at the hotel today, and The Lobby with its

magnificent fresco ceiling and original fireplace

with Fleur de Lis detailing, welcomes you into a

world where careful restoration has retained

period features and added more than a touch

of 21st century styling.

Suitable for entertaining up to 12 guests,

the Vanderbilt Room can’t fail to impress with

wonderful wood panelling, the original open

fireplace and a stunning stained glass bay

window which lets in plenty of natural daylight

Scoff & Banter is the company behind the

to the period style of the Vanderblit Room, the

Mention Oxford anywhere in the world and there won’t be many people who don’t

instantly think of the University and its elegant buildings which scatter the skyline and

cluster around the cobbled courtyards of the City.
