Annual Production the holiday<br />
classic, The Nutcracker, Friday<br />
<strong>December</strong> 1 at 7 p.m., Saturday<br />
<strong>December</strong> 2, at 3 p.m. and<br />
Sunday <strong>December</strong> 3 at 2 p.m.<br />
at <strong>Millis</strong> HIgh School, 245 Plain<br />
St., <strong>Millis</strong>. This 90-minute, family-friendly<br />
version features overs<br />
120 students from the <strong>Millis</strong> Public<br />
Schools over its three-day run.<br />
The score features both traditional<br />
Tchaikovsky variations as<br />
well as Duke Ellington variations<br />
from his Three Suites and has<br />
become a community tradition.<br />
The <strong>Millis</strong> Mohawk School<br />
Newspaper will be hosting a baking<br />
sale during the 15-minute intermission<br />
to fundraise for their<br />
newsprint, and other community<br />
groups will promoting their projects<br />
as well.<br />
Tickets are available at the<br />
door at a cost of $8 for adults, $6<br />
for students and seniors, under 5<br />
is free. Additionally, the Saturday<br />
performance is Scouts Day at<br />
The Nutcracker all scouts, old and<br />
young who wear and significant<br />
aspect of their uniform will have<br />
a ticket cost of $4, and the Sunday<br />
performance is Seniors Day<br />

Terpsichore is the muse of<br />
dancing and literally can be interpreted<br />
as “delight dancing”<br />
and this sums up our mission. In<br />
our tenth year, we are providing<br />
students with the opportunity to<br />
explore dance on a variety of levels.<br />
First, we provide free classes<br />
for students of all abilities and<br />
interest levels. These classes serve<br />
to expose students to a variety<br />
of dance styles and allow them<br />
the opportunity to develop their<br />
skills. Many of our participants<br />
have not taken formal dance,<br />
and we want to provide them a<br />
safe and fun environment to explore<br />
the dancing arts. Second,<br />
we work to find existing and/<br />
or create our own performance<br />
opportunities in dance for our<br />
members. Finally, as we grow our<br />
organization we plan on adding<br />
dance theory, history, and choreography<br />
to our repertoire.<br />
This production is our primary<br />
source of fundraising for<br />
