Clarence Blevins, reformed ex-felon, will discuss the challenges confronting inmates and ways the community can help them to make a successful transition upon release from prison. The event will take place from 7-8 pm at the FRS Lower Meeting House located at 26 Pleasant Street in Newburyport as part of their First Wednesday Program. This free, public event has been organized to inform the community about the challenges facing individuals who are incarcerated or recently released. The forum will also discuss opportunities the community can support to ease the transition after release and reduce recidivism.
