Cuskinny Christmas Wildlife Walk 2017 Cobh Tidy Towns is delighted to announce that on Wednesday 27th December, wildlife expert Jim Wilson will lead a Free Family Wildlife Walk at the Birdwatch Ireland Cuskinny Marsh Nature Reserve. The meeting point will be the car park at 11 am and no equipment is necessary. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the fantastic wildlife living on our doorsteps. Jim is a wildlife writer, international wildlife tour guide, broadcaster, photographer and filmmaker and recently received a lifetime achievement award at the Cork Environmental Forum 2017 Awards.

Coin Exchange Available at Titanic Bar & Grill<br />

We would like to make you aware that we now exchange coins for notes in the Titanic Bar<br />

and Grill. This is due to the cash desk in Bank of Ireland no longer being available. So if you<br />

are running a fundraiser or have built up coins over time and want to exchange the coins for<br />

CAROLING ON THE CARILLON<br />

The traditional recital of Seasonal music on the grand carillon of St Colman’s Cathedral in<br />

Cobh will take place on Christmas Eve from 4.30 to 5.30. It will be presented as always by<br />

the Cathedral Carillonneur, Adrian Gebruers, who this year will be joined by is granddaughter<br />

Ella Gebruers.<br />

RINGING OUT THE OLD YEAR AND IN THE NEW<br />

Ringing in the changes happens in Cobh as nowhere else in Ireland, on the 49-bell Carillon of<br />

St Colman’s Cathedral. This special recital by Cathedral Carillonneur Adrian Gebruers commences<br />

at 11.50 on New Year’s Eve and concludes will the playing of “Auld Lang Syne” on the<br />

stroke of midnight.<br />
