Outfield Fertiliser 

Sierrablen Plus 

The Sierrablen range features Everris’s unique resin and/or Poly-S coated fertilizer granules which rely on soil temperature as their 

main mechanism of release. 

On application to turf, the granule takes up moisture from its environment gradually dissolving the enclosed nutrients. At soil 

temperatures just above 0 degrees centigrade, pressure starts to build up within the granule forcing the nutrients through the 

semi-permeable resign coating. The length of release is determined by the thickness of the coating surrounding the granule. The 

thicker the coating, the slower the daily release rate and so the longer the product lasts.

Sierrablen Plus 

Sierrablen Plus features Poly-S coated fertilizer granules which rely on a dual coated urea 

granule to regulate the release of nutrients. By using a combination of primary sulphur coating 

followed by an exclusive outer polymer coating, the release of nutrients takes place according to 

soil temperature and moisture surrounding the granule. 

Large changes in soil temperature and/or moisture do not result in severe fluctuations in the 

release pattern, ensuring that Poly-S provides a non-surge growth characteristic accompanied 

by deep greening. To enable a quick response in the Spring or Autumn, most products contain 

some readily available nutrients. 

In common with the Sierrablen range, the length of release is determined by the thickness of the 

coating allowing good longevity to be obtained from a fine granule controlled release fertilizer.

Multigreen & Xtend 

MULTIGREEN 4-5 / 6-7 Month Longevity 

All Multigreen analyses contain an uncoated, fast start portion of nutrient, blended with a polymer-coated, 

controlled release prill. Following Application, the coated Multigreen prill takes up moisture through pores in the 

polymer-resin coating. This priming process takes 7-10days with the initial release period covered by the fast 

start nutrients. Once the soil temperature reaches 6°c, release commences from the polymer coated portion of 

the product. Multigreen analyses are available in 4-5 month and 6-7 month longevities. 

MULTIGREEN FINE 5-6 Month Longevity 

Multigreen Fine features a smaller prill suitable for use on close mown areas such as some 

golf tees, green surrounds and approaches. It contains a potassium nitrate fast start portion 

that will encourage gentle hard growth under cooler conditions. 

XTEND 

Headland Xtend is designed for cost effective use on all outfield turf. It features a unique soluble, slow release 

nitrogen that is safe to apply and lasts for up to 3 months. It can be applied as a granule, or as a liquid spray. 

Headland Xtend uses UFLEXX stabilized nitrogen® technology. Each urea prill is treated with two soluble 

chemical coatings to prevent loss of nitrogen to the atmosphere and to slow down nitrogen 

conversion in the soil.
