Since Perogies are a type of
dumpling made with unleavened
dough similar to a ravioli, they
can be stuffed with a wide variety of
fillings. Most common is potato. Served
as an entree usually accompanied with
sour cream or can be filled with a sweet
filling for dessert. They can be served
fried or boiled for the health conscious.
Because of the flexibility of stuffings,
they can be tailored to fit the tastes of
particular regions of the country,
for example pulled pork BBQ
in the South. Also available
