Children's Christmas Party
Children from economically disadvantaged areas in Corpus Christi were treated to a Christmas Party in
December by the Al Amin Shriners. Everyone enjoyed the activities which included a train ride, clowns,
face painting, caricature drawings, and toy fishing. Families were served lunch and were then surprised by
Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus (Jim & Mary Jane Falwell), who made sure each child received a gift.
CIRCUS 2018
Save the Date: March 9 - 11
Your Circus Committee has been busy meeting with the circus owner
and American Bank Center so that we can bring you the best circus
ever!! We will need the help of all Nobles and ladies to make this
endeavor a success.
There will be a few changes for this year. We will no longer have a circus
book. Though many of you have worked hard to get ads for the booklet,
the rising cost of printing prohibits the project. We will instead have a
coloring book for sale. This book will be provided by the circus owner
and all sales will be a profit for us.
Thanks to all of you for your continued support.
As Shriners, we must all be accountable to
our fraternity. The Imperial Potentate has
developed a new tool to help increase our
pool of prospective members. It is called
the Membership Referral Program. It starts
with the question, “Who do you know that
would make a good Shriner? A friend? A
family member? A coworker?” Just go to
WebFez and click on the link:
https://webfez.shrinenet.org/nextstep.
Filling out the short form response will
trigger an automatic communication to the
referrer and the prospect. The program
encourages constant collaboration. Refer
someone today, and the next day, and the
next day. We can grow with your help.
